A yummy taste of history!!
Another great tour with David. He shared so much history with the food samplings- and gave us added ideas for future visits- like the Tenement Museum. Every stop was educational and delicious! Thanks again David!!
A Perfect Blend of Food and History
Amanda was an outstanding guide! She was organized, personable, and did a terrific job balancing the history of the Lower East Side with visits to some outstanding neighborhood food establishments. She kept the tour moving at a comfortable pace, made everyone feel welcome, and shared fascinating stories about the people, cultures, and businesses that have shaped this historic part of New York City. The food was excellent, the portions were generous, and we discovered several places we never would have found on our own. Amanda's enthusiasm and knowledge made the experience even better. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the Lower East Side through its history and its food.
