Our delicious journey begins at St. John’s Bakery, located near Borough Station. Known for its artisanal approach and traditional flavors, this bakery has been delighting locals and visitors with its exceptional donuts and baked goods for years. Nestled in a charming area steeped in history, it offers the perfect introduction to London’s thriving donut scene.

Next, we’ll head to Bird and Blend Tea Co., near the famous Borough Market. This cozy spot is the perfect place to sip on a perfectly brewed cup of tea while exploring unique and creative flavors. The area itself has a fascinating history, dating back to the 13th century, when it was originally established as a trading hub for goods from across Europe.

As we continue our journey, we’ll visit a bustling bakery located right in the heart of Borough Market. Known for its artisanal treats and freshly baked goods, this spot is a must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of tradition with a modern twist.

We’ll then make our way through Borough Yards, a trendy and historic area that offers an urban oasis of local artisans and eateries. Here, we’ll discover more of London’s most popular treat destinations, known for its innovative creations and unique flavor combinations, perfect for both the adventurous and the classic donut lover.

Our final stop takes us to the majestic Tower Bridge. With its rich history and riverside views, it’s the ideal place to tuck into your freshly bought snacks and hear about the past and present of the old city. The tour was quite long and it was difficult to keep the kids engaged. The donut store was the best stop where we got to choose a donut. At the rest of the stops the food items were pre ordered and we didn’t get a choice which was a bit disappointing. I was also unhappy that the tour ended at a different location to the starting point - we were handed a map and had to find our own way back. Having never been to Cork before, this wasn’t particularly easy and we had to run to catch our train back to Cobh.

Kat was a great guide. The donuts were delicious and she also included a lot of history of Toronto. The walk was an easy pace and gave us time to prepare for the next round. She provided us with other places to taste Toronto food and there was time to grab some of that food too. We loved the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Toronto!
