Itinerary
A cornerstone of Lisbon's religious and architectural heritage. Its facade tells stories of resilience and faith. A testament to the city's resilience. The traveler will only visit from outside. Tickets Not Included, it represents an Extra Cost if you desire to visit the monument.
This lookout’s got some outstanding views of Alfama and Tejo river. Perfect spot for a quick snap or just to take it all in.
Graça, real old-school Lisbon. Then, it’s up to the Miradouro Senhora do Monte for some amazing views. Trust me, you’ll want your camera ready.
We’ll cruise by the Panteão, can’t miss its massive dome. And the Fado Museum’s close by, showing off the city’s deep musical roots. The traveler will only visit from outside. Tickets Not Included, it represents an Extra Cost if you desire to visit the monument.
Lisbon’s oldest neighbourhood and the most charming one, it’s considered the historic soul of Lisbon and its steep, cobblestoned lanes stand just as they were in medieval times. This area is best known for its fado houses and the great festivities of Lisbon which honors “Santo António” (St. Anthony) during the month of June, luring thousands of people into the streets. This neighbourhood resisted to the terrible earthquake of 1755 and this is one of the main reasons that contributed to the preservation of its authenticity. This charming area retains some of the Moorish atmosphere with its alleys, staircases and clothes drying on the windows.
Chiado & Rua Garrett’s Buzz: Chiado’s where it’s at for shopping and chilling. Rua Garrett’s got everything from great cafes to amazing trendy shops and even the oldest bookshop in the world.
Bairro Alto, with its vibrant nightlife and artistic murals, offers a contrast to the historical Largo Camões. Where Lisbon's bohemian heart beats strongest.
Largo do Carmo is a bit quieter, nice for a breather and to check out some history without the hustle. history whispers from the ruins and the quiet corners, speaking of revolutions past and the continuous march of time.

Barb & Cat Didn't Just Show Us Lisbon — They Gave It Life
If you’re still wondering if it’s worth taking a tuk-tuk trip in Lisbon, stop reading reviews and book now—but do yourself a favor and ask Barb & Cat. They didn’t just show us the city; they turned an amazing city into one of the most memorable experiences of our entire journey. From the moment we entered the tuk-tuk, Barb and Cat made us feel like we were discovering Lisbon with two friends who know all the secrets of the city. Their enthusiasm was contagious, their genuine sympathy and their knowledge of Lisbon simply impressive. Every neighborhood, every monument, every viewpoint and every hidden street had a story to tell. And they never stopped sharing the history of the city, curiosities, legends and little details that most visitors probably would never find out on their own. One of the things we most appreciated was flexibility. This was not a tour of those who follow a strict schedule. Whenever we wanted to stop to take pictures, admire a view or explore a place for a few more minutes, Barb and Cat stopped without hesitation. We never felt any pressure to continue. Their goal was to make sure we knew Lisbon at our own pace, and that made all the difference. And the views... just stunning. Barb and Cat seemed to know every corner with the most beautiful views of the city. Whenever we thought we had seen the best viewpoint of Lisbon, they smiled and said: “Wait till you see the next one.” And somehow they were always able to surprise us again. Between the colorful hills, the Tejo River and the historic neighborhoods, each stop looked like an exit from a postcard. We took hundreds of photographs, but none can truly convey the beauty of those places. Another highlight was the lunch stop at LX Factory. We were very pleased that Barb and Cat included her on the journey. It was the perfect break between the visits, in a space full of life, urban art, original shops and excellent restaurants. It was a different way to get to know Lisbon and it turned out to be one of our favorite places throughout the trip. What most impressed us was the way Barb and Cat combined history with entertainment. It never seemed like a class or a decorated speech. It was like talking to two people who were passionate about their city and who wanted us to fall in love with it too. As we traveled through Lisbon, they explained the history of the monuments, drew attention to architectural details that we would never have noticed on our own, and shared recommendations and local curiosities without ever having a boring moment. Even the trails between stops were an opportunity to learn something new. The complicity between the two also made the experience even better. Barb and Cat perfectly complement each other, creating a relaxed, fun and well-held atmosphere, never ceasing to be extremely professional. It was obvious that they loved what they did, and that passion was reflected in every minute of the walk. They anticipated our questions, were constantly concerned about our comfort and were always asking if there was any other place we would like to visit. I have already participated in guided visits to several cities around the world, and many end up mixing up in memory. This is never gonna happen. Barb and Cat have provided us with an experience that we will talk about for many years. They didn’t just show us Lisbon; they helped us understand it, appreciate it and, above all, fall in love with it. If this is your first visit to Lisbon, I highly recommend you take a tuk-tuk tour in the first few days. It’s the best way to get to know the city, discover amazing places and decide where you want to go back later. And if you're lucky enough to take the walk with Barb and Cat, you can be sure you're going to have a truly special experience. To Barb and Cat, our thanks for the sympathy, the professionalism, the flexibility, the enormous knowledge and for making us feel so welcome in your wonderful city. They made a simple walk into one of the best memories of our entire trip. We arrived as tourists and left with the feeling that Lisbon had been introduced to us by two friends. Five stars seem like few. Barb and Cat deserve all of them... and many more.

Perfect 3 hour Private tour of city highlights
Mariana was a great tour guide, brought us to numerous sites and gave us time to explore. Her recommendation for an area to dine was perfect. Pleasant and very knowledgeable. Recommend 100%!
Private tuk tuk tour
Really enjoyed our private tour with Arthur last week. He was a great guide - very knowledgeable and entertaining! Gave us a great insight into the city and some top tips for other things to do. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend the 3 hour tour
We did the 3 hour tuk tuk tour through Lisbon with Joao F. It was such a great way to kick off a short stay in Lisbon. Joao was so friendly, knowledgeable and informative! The tour helped us get the context around what we were seeing and know how to spend the rest of our time in Lisbon. Given the narrow winding streets of Lisbon, the tuk tuk is the best way to go! Thanks for giving us such a solid fun start, Joao!!
