Traveler reviews
A special cultural experience
Our Lares Trek was incredible and unforgettable! Our guide, David, was such a wonderful support and kept great care of us. The views were breathtaking and serene (with very little foot traffic so we felt like it was a spiritual experience!) While the trek was challenging at times, it was worth it for the views. We also got to spend time in local villages which made for a really special cultural experience. Highly recommend, we wouldn't change this experience!
Unforgettable experience
Very nice experience, very well organized. Breathtaking landscapes. Very little frequented trek (there were only 4 of us in our group and we only encountered one other group during the 3 days of hiking.) An excellent team. Our guide Juel Condori shared a lot of anecdotes about the history, nature, and lifestyle of the locals. Our chef Julio was incredible, both in terms of the quality and quantity of food. The horseman Toribio was extremely kind, despite the language barrier. In short, I recommend it a thousand times.
Super experience (Lares Trek & Machu Picchu)
We had an amazing experience on the Lares Trek and visiting Machu Picchu. The landscapes were beautiful, and the whole adventure was very interesting. A big thank you to our guide, Elias, for his dedication and great explanations throughout the trek. Thanks as well to Julio and Jeymi for the delicious and varied meals. Thanks to Leandro and his horses, the of Leandro as horseman was precious.
4 Day Lares Trek
We had an excellent and challenging experience on the Lares Trek. The food was excellent and local sights and culture was amazing. The Lares region had very few tourists and felt much less commercial than some other areas we have been. Our tour guide, Toribio, did a fantastic job explaining the Incan culture and assisting my wife on some of the slippery / steep downhills. Memories will last a lifetime.
Amazing sceneries and excellent service
Our guide Toro is an excellent guide and helped us the entire hike. The views along the hiking trek is fantastic and surreal. The food cooked by the chef was amazing for every meal.
