Itinerary
At 08:30, our guide meets you in front of Avlabari Metro Station with our company’s branded flag. He/she will show you where our office is. After you complete the check-in procedure, you will wait a few minutes in our office until your tour starts.
Badiauri village is where you can visit a local bakery and taste delicious Georgian bread and cheese.
The second stop is Bodbe Convent. According to the legend, it was built at the burial place of Saint Nino—a Saint for Georgians who converted their religion to Christianity. The site is very spiritual and has impressive views for taking beautiful pictures.
Then go to Sighnaghi, known as "The City of Love." You will have a walking tour in Sighnaghin and discover " The Great Wall of Georgia." After the walking tour, you can join lunch with a beautiful view of Alazani Valley and try traditional Georgian food.
The fourth site of the day is a local family winery. At this stage, you will meet a local family who traditionally makes wine using Qvevri - giant clay jars buried underground. You'll get to sample three of their best wines - Rkatsiteli, Saperavi, and Manavi Mtsvane.
The last place to visit during the day is KTW Winery, one of the biggest wine producer in the whole country. You have a tour of the winery, wine tasting for five different wines - and even try Chacha, a potent grape vodka.

A Five-Star Guide and an Amazing Experience
We had an absolutely wonderful day exploring the Kakheti wine region with Beka as our guide. From tasting traditional bread, cheese, and wine, to visiting the nunnery, a family winery, and a larger wine factory, every stop was made so much more meaningful because of his knowledge and enthusiasm. As first time visitors to Georgia, we felt like we got a crash course in the country's history, culture, traditions, and even its current political landscape. Beka was incredibly patient throughout the day, always happy to answer questions and share fascinating insights. Despite the heat being well over 33°C, he was constantly on his feet making sure everyone had a great experience. What stood out most was his genuine passion for his country and his work. We travel a lot and have met many tour guides around the world, but it is rare to find someone so dedicated, authentic, and engaging. Thanks to Beka, we left with an even deeper appreciation for Georgia and its people. We are taking another tour with the same company tomorrow and are secretly hoping Beka will be our guide again. Without a doubt, one of the best tour guides we have ever had. Highly recommended! 🇬🇪❤️
A wonderful wine experience
I really enjoyed the tour. Our guide Beka was really nice and forthcoming. He told us bunch of interesting stuff that i will remember for a long time. And I am really glad that I chose to eat lunch, which was planned in the program, because that was the place where I got to drink the most wine and chacha;)
Kaheti, Georgia
The tour was great, we visited some good wine refinery. The best part of our tour was our guide, Beka was amazing!
Must do!
Thank you Ilia for this great day! You were an amazing tour guide. Funny with a lot of knowledge. A day we will never forget.
Wholesome and historical
Tako was such an amazing guide, it was a great mixture of history and wine tasting. It would have been better to have more opportunities to drink wine.
