Itinerary
At 08:30, our guide meets you in front of Avlabari metro station with our company's branded flag.
The first sight of the tour which we visit is Akhtala Monastery. A church from the 13th-century with beautiful frescoes, surrounded by copper smelting caves, a copper smelting factory, and the central defensive fortification of the southern part of Georgia.
The second destination of the tour is Haghpat monastery, located in Haghpat village and is a UNESCO heritage site. One of Armenia's most beautiful medieval masterpieces takes your breath away.
After lunch, we visit the second UNESCO heritage site called the Sanahin Monastery, one of the most beautiful monasteries from the 10th-century. On the way to Sanahin Monastery, three extra stops are available: one for the bridge, which is originally from the 12th-century and from the bridge you see a copper smelting factory which makes you feel the time of the Soviet Union; the second place is Debed canyon with an astonishing view; the third sight Mikoyan Brothers’ Museum which will amaze you with original aircraft MiG 21.

This was a wonderful one day tour to the Northwest region of Armenia. The countryside and mountains ate stunning and the three midieval monasteries that we visited were beautiful. The highlight of course was the homemade lunch by a local village woman. Delicious! Our tour guide Nicholas (Tota) was excellent and the transportation included was luxurious. Highly recommend!

Hello, We had great time in Armenia. Tour was excelent. What made it exceptional is our guide Tota. He is very knowledgable, frendly, great sense of humor, very adaptable to everyine on the tour, no matter age or nationality. He is very eloquent and articulate, so you are really learning from his stories. All together very harismatic and I am so happy that we had chance to do both tours with him, Wine and Armenia tour.
