Hurghada Dolphin & Snorkeling Adventure

This dolphin tour was no longer just a disappointment for us, but simply an absolute rip-off and by far the worst tour we have ever booked. The description itself was extremely misleading. Among other things, two snorkeling stops were advertised. On site, it was suddenly said that we had to pay about 40 € extra in order to even be allowed into the water – even though we had already paid around 40 € for the tour itself. Such additional costs belong clearly and distinctly in the description and not only on site, when the guests have long since arrived. The organization was just as catastrophic. We were picked up about an hour late, then driven to the wrong meeting point, and after that, the driver raced through traffic so recklessly that we were really scared with our children. That was no longer just a hectic ride, but simply dangerous. It continued the same way on the boat. The crew was not only unfriendly but sometimes downright aggressive and brazen. When we offered criticism, the response was essentially just: "You can just go home; nobody is forcing you to participate." The fact that we naturally wouldn't have gotten our money back was conveniently ignored. Instead of taking proper care of the guests, there was a constant attempt to sell something. Boats kept coming up, offering drinks and other things at completely inflated prices – for example, beer for about 8 €. At times, we felt like we were spending more time waiting and dealing with sales attempts than on the actual tour. The snorkeling spots were also a letdown. The corals mostly looked dead, and there was really no talk of a nice snorkeling experience. But what shocked me by far the most was the treatment of the dolphins. As soon as dolphins were spotted, several boats drove after them at the same time and tried to surround them again and again. To us, it felt like a real hunt. From our perspective, the animals had hardly any peace and were constantly being pursued and harassed by various boats. I really felt sorry for the dolphins. This had absolutely nothing to do with a respectful nature experience. We found the treatment of the animals so reckless that we would never book this type of tour again for animal welfare reasons. The absurd part about it: At some point we had seen dolphins, but then we were not allowed into the water ourselves because the water was supposedly too deep. At the same time, the guests were also told that there could possibly be sharks there. Instead of explaining professionally and calmly why something is not possible, fear was spread instead. For an organized dolphin and snorkeling tour, simply completely unprofessional. In the end, we had a tour with hidden additional costs, chaotic organization, a dangerous transfer, aggressive staff, constant sales attempts, poor snorkeling spots, and a way of handling dolphins that we found absolutely appalling. For me, this is no longer just a normal bad tour, but brazen rip-off. But I found it even worse that, for the entertainment of the tourists, it is apparently accepted that the dolphins are chased and harassed by several boats. Absolutely no recommendation. I would never book this tour again, neither because of the money nor because of the treatment of the animals.

Great boat trip, seeing dolphins and ( depending on weather conditions) swimming with them was great experience, also beautiful reefs with lots of fishes and corals, great crew Captain Ali of True Diver boat , good food and service. Always again!

Very nice snorkel tour. Great crew very hard and unobtrusive. We have seen dolphins and swam with them.. Two beautiful riffs driven. There was a shortcoming, please note that there is always an additional nature park fee on top of the ticket price, even if it is not immediately readable.. Taxi arrived on time and reliably. Tour is recommended
