An Unforgettable Day Exploring Hue with an Outstanding Guide

We had an absolutely wonderful private tour today visiting the Tomb of Khai Dinh, the Imperial City in Hue, and Thien Mu Pagoda. Every stop was beautiful, fascinating, and rich with history, but what truly made the experience exceptional was our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, engaging, and genuinely passionate about sharing the history and culture of Vietnam with us. He answered every question thoughtfully and made the entire day feel personal and special rather than rushed or scripted. Our driver also deserves recognition because the traffic can be intense, and we always felt completely safe. He was cautious, attentive, calm, and highly skilled throughout the entire journey. The included 10 course lunch was another highlight. The food was beautifully presented, delicious, and gave us the chance to experience a wide variety of local dishes. It felt far beyond what we expected from a tour meal. This was one of the best guided experiences we have had while traveling. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Da Nang or Hue.

Highly recommend if you can navigate stairs easily.

Great day out, learned about history of Vietnam, culture and architecture. A few stairs to navigate so perhaps a bit harder for some but worth it if you have the time available.

Great tour, great guide

Everything about this tour was handled well. Early the day before our tour was scheduled, both the tour operator and our tour guide, Phuong (who went by Fiona), reached out and Fiona confirmed the time and meeting place. Fiona and our driver met us right on time. They were both professional and warm. We felt like we were traveling with friends. The Hue tour is a long day, with a number of sites. Fiona was pleasant and patient throughout, informing us about each place we visited, but tying things together so we came back with better knowledge of each site, Hue, and the history of Vietnam itself. Also, the lunch provided was very good, and it was in a nice setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and recommend highly.
