Itinerary
Your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Bogotá and take you toward the mountains of La Calera. Along the way, enjoy beautiful views of the city and learn about the surrounding region.
Upon arrival, you will receive a brief safety introduction and be matched with a horse according to your experience level.
Begin your horseback riding adventure through scenic mountain trails. During the ride, you will enjoy spectacular views of the San Rafael Reservoir and the Andean countryside. There will be opportunities to stop for photographs and enjoy the scenery before continuing the route.
After completing the horseback riding experience, return to Bogotá and enjoy transportation back to your hotel.

I had an absolute blast and I give a Big thanks to my tour guide Diego. He made sure I felt Safe the entire tour and kept checking that I am confortable. He met me on time and was very friendly. Amazing horseback!
The tour guide, Angel, is completely fluent in English, was a super nice guy, and stayed with you the entire day (pick-up/drop-off and ride). The horse facility is surprisingly only 40 minutes from downtown Bogota. Jesus, the horse guide, was also very nice and friendly. The property is massive and set high in the mountains where you have tremendous views of the area from above.

Hello, so we did the horseback riding tour yesterday and it was beautiful. However, the description said a snack was included and that was false. We went to the first stop and went to get on the horses and I was still expecting food, but none ever came so by the time we got to the end of the horseback ride I was dying. So we had to stop and get food at one of the food stands at the top of the mountain. Other than that it was amazing. But I don’t think you guys should advertise that you offer food if you don’t because that is kind of a key issue especially for a six hour excursion. If no snack was going to be given to us, he should’ve said some thing, and then I would’ve bought some food at our first stop from one of the vendors.

Excellent trip that definitely tested me. My girls had a great time and are ready to go again! The trip guide was knowledgeable and patient with us. I would recommend this trip to other horse enthusiasts.

We did not get to do the horse-riding trip because there was a landslide. We were fortunate to change it for another trip which the tour company was willing to do and was also given a refund. Jose the tour guide was very friendly and accommodative. Hats off to Viator.
