Morning: 8:00 am We will pick you up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City To kick-start our day, we will proceed to The Ho Chi Minh City Post Office, For any first-time visitor to the city, this destination is a must-see. Constructed between 1886 and 1891, the post office stands as one of the city's most historic and iconic structures.
The Jade Emperor Pagoda in Ho Chi Minh City is renowned for its ancient Chinese-inspired design. Constructed in 1892, its vibrant Yin-Yang roof and decorative brickwork captivate visitors with their distinctive Chinese architectural flair. Remarkably, even after about a century, the 100 statues within the pagoda, crafted from cartridge papers, retain their fresh and awe-inspiring appearance.
The War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, a renowned historical museum in Vietnam, will reshape and test your understanding of the Vietnam War.
During the Vietnam War, the Independence Palace was the home and workplace of South Vietnamese President Nguyen Van Thieu. Recognized as a historical landmark, it stands testament to pivotal moments in Saigon's past while encapsulating the spirit of Eastern traditions.
Pass by: The Notre Dame Cathedral in Vietnam is recognized as one of the 19 most magnificent cathedrals worldwide, standing as the sole representative from Southeast Asia. A window into history
If anyone I know was coming to Ho Chi Minh city, it would be difficult for me to not recommend this tour. Our guide was Kevin, and me and my wife truly felt as though we were being given a window into the history of the country by a proud historian. If you are able to, I would make experiencing the tunnels with Kevin an absolute priority early on in your visit.
Tour with Kevin to the Tunnels
My tour guide Kevin was outstanding. His English was excellent, and his knowledge of the history of Vietnam and how the various conflicts interconnected were really helpful in understanding the background to the tunnels.
