Alex, our guide, is incredibly knowledgeable about wine and the wine making process. We thoroughly relished his expertise and delighted in the choices of the two wineries we visited. The first, Mas de Cadenet, is a family owned winery; it began in 1813. The second winery was Domaine Jas Monges, which after 70 years and four generations later, went from winegrowers to winemakers. It was a wonderful morning and we enjoyed it immensely.

This Brittany shore excursion is best for cruise passengers who want to trade a big‑bus overview for an intimate day discovering historic towns, local life and regional food. It’s ideal for culture lovers, history enthusiasts and photography fans who enjoy wandering medieval streets and listening to stories rather than rushing between quick photo stops.

Travelers who appreciate a small‑group, private format—especially couples, friends and families—will value the flexible pace, time to ask questions, and reassurance of a dedicated driver/guide managing the schedule back to the ship.
