Itinerary
We stop at the Pitstop, located on the most scenic routes in the world. It is a 1950’s Pump Diner inspired restaurant with a “lekker” South African twist. A real hidden gem often missed my many.
Admire the sweeping vistas of the coastline, the ocean, and the town of Hermanus below. It's an ideal spot for capturing stunning photographs or simply appreciating the natural beauty of the area.
During Whale Season, you will have the option to go on a whale sightseeing cruise to spot the Great Southern Right Whale.
Hermanus is a town of natural beauty where you can explore its quaint shops, galleries, enjoy a meal while enjoying panoramic views over Walker Bay Go for a walk along the kloof top pathways which offers some of the the best shore-based whale watching opportunities in the world during season where close sightings of the Southern Right whale are highly likely.
Opportunity to enjoy an Urban wine tasting from wines produced in the world rebounded Hemel en Aarde Wine Valley.
Peregrine Farm Stall is a charming and iconic stop in the scenic Elgin Valley. With its Cape Dutch-style building and picturesque surroundings, Peregrine offers an abundance of fresh, locally sourced produce, delectable baked goods, artisanal cheeses, and gourmet treats. Visitors can enjoy farm-to-table meals at the café, browse the deli section for pantry staples, and immerse themselves in the region's agricultural heritage.

Awesome day trip to Hermanus
We recently took the City Sightseeing trip to Hermanus, and I was genuinely impressed. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly knew what he was talking about. Throughout the journey he shared interesting facts, answered questions with confidence, and made the experience so much more enjoyable. His expertise really stood out and added great value to the tour. Overall, it was a wonderful trip, and the excellent guidance made it even better!
Great!
Horea excellent trip, the tour guide was excellent. Keep up the good work! Biggups to Horea, will recommend to my friends and family. Thank you, God bless!
Didn’t see Whales, but had a Whale of a day
We had a great tour to Hermanus with our amazing guide, Horea. The trip was well organized, with a few short stops along the way, and enjoyable from start to finish. It’s a small group tour, which makes the experience more personal and relaxed. If you decide not to do a whale-watching tour, there’s plenty of time to wander around the charming town and enjoy the beautiful views. There’s even a little wine tasting included if you’d like to join! Highly recommended — thanks a lot, Horea, for a fantastic day!
Very satisfied
My stay was extraordinary despite this one was for business. The hotel was right for me and the staff of the hotel like throng and as others I surely forget were attentive and extraordinary. I ively recommend le.silkpath
Great tour, great guide, great time.
It was a really unique experience with a lot of nice background information and great views in the beautiful little city Hermanus. We've only booked the tour without the whale watching online as the tickets weren't available or just too expensive. But our tour guide Charles actually organized some tickets for a really fair price for anyone on the bus who wanted to join. Really it was him who made the trip so special. He was really sweet and probably the most competent and passionate tour guide I've had, ever. While whale watching there was only one other boat, which we really liked as it made the experience feel very unique and the whales don't get bothered that way. 10/10, would do it again any time!
