Program & Itinerary  :   Pick up  in Cannes   - Walk on the famous Croisette in Cannes - Visit Grasse - Visit Gourdon - Admire the Loup Canyon landscape - Visit Saint Paul de Vence   Return  in Cannes
Walk on the famous Croisette in Cannes

Arrive in Cannes and walk the famous Croisette Boulevard, by the Film Festival Palace, designer shops and smart sandy beaches. Embellished by Palm trees and fine sandy beaches, famous cafés, elegant shops and deluxe hotels have made Cannes one of the most famous cities of the French Riviera. Of course, the film festival is of world reputation so you will have the opportunity to see where it all takes place towards the Conference center. For the most, your time here will be spent discovering the town and enjoying great shopping possibilities.

Visit the Capital of Perfumes, Grasse

Then, your small group day trip will head to world famous town of Grasse, coined the capital of Perfumes. Situated on a slope in a natural amphitheater in the lower Alps, Grasse is a world leader in the production of natural fragrances for the perfume industry and of flavourings for food manufacturers. The perfume industry, although largely controlled by multinational groups, dominates the local economy.

Roses, jasmine, and other flowers, as well as bitter orange blossom, from which the perfumes are distilled, are cultivated in the close vicinity of the town. Here, participate in a guided visit of a perfume factory to discover all the secrets behind perfume making.

Visit the medieval village of Gourdon

Then reach the village of Gourdon that sits on the edge of a Rocky Spur above the River Loup. The village is dotted with tiny shops but is also home to one of the most famous Candy making Factory named Florian. After some time in the village, we will drive along the Loup River through the countryside to discover some places that are a heaven of quietness.

 Admire the Loup Canyon landscape

Our next stop will be in Tourettes sur Loup. Tourettes is one of those picturesque villages that is so unique to France, again set on a rocky hill separating two valleys. As you wander and stroll through the narrow streets of the “village of violets”, you might stop by in one of those tiny fashioned shops that sell unique local arts & crafts that make this part of the hinterland so prized by visitors from all over.

End the day in Saint Paul de Vence village

In the afternoon, stop in medieval Saint Paul de Vence, sheltered behind its ramparts and filled with art galleries, boutiques and sidewalk cafes. The village of St-Paul dates back to the 11th century and traces of its history still remain much to the delight of its visitors.

It is a village well known for its artistic heritage, the beautiful landscapes surrounding St-Paul having inspired many an artist and an enclave of art galleries and museums can be found around the quaint cobbled streets.

After the visit, it will be time to make our way back to Cannes and that will be the end of our services.

We had a very fun day with Matt to Mont Saint-Mitchel. Matt is an excellent tour guide & he cared for his clients very much. He's an on time person. We learned a lot about the history of Saint-Mitchel via Matt. He made sure we have enough time browsing this beautiful UNESCO. We definitely recommend friends & family this tour. Thank you Matt

Pascal was, above all, a smiling whirlwind of energy from the very start — bursting with knowledge, passion, and just the right amount of dramatic flair. He painted the horror of the Omaha Beach invasion so vividly that we could practically hear the chaos, then marched us through the bunkers at Pointe du Hoc like we were on a mission ourselves. And before we even caught our breath, he had already catapulted us back to Bayeux at invasion speed. A legend in tour‑guide form. Thanks from Croatian Team😉

Our Normandy D-Day tour was well worth it and we so enjoyed our tour guide Matt. He made the tour engaging, entertaining and informative. The tour was just the right size and a half day was perfect for us. It would have been much harder to get around to the sites and understand each without the information that Matt was constantly sharing. There was hardly a time that Matt was not telling us what/how/when of what we were looking at. Thanks Matt!
