a well-run, informative tour
We booked this tour just 12 hours in advance and received immediate confirmation and communication from the company. Pickup was efficient and well-run. Communication was top notch. $10 extra for pickup at our off-the-strip hotel was a steal and an option other tours don’t offer. We were on “Jackie’s dam bus” and she was entertaining and informative during the trip.
Missed half the experience
First of all, our tour guide was excellent. Jackie was fantastic. They changed our tour literally the day before to include a stop at IHOP. No big deal. The reason im giving it 3 stars is because I paid close to $2500 for my family of 4 to do the glass Skywalk, guano point, and the helicopter ride. We didnt have enough time to do the glass Skywalk because we got there later than anticipated. Maybe because we had to wait close to 20 mins for other passengers to board the bus in the morning. We had to skip that stop on the shuttle completely, and go straight to guano point where we had to scarf down our food in 15 mins, take a few pics and run back to the helicopter meet up spot. We didnt have time to do the trail there either. The helicopter ride with the landing inside the canyon was spectacular. That part was totally worth it. So, was if worth the money? I feel like I got scammed on that accord. I feel like the time frame was not good. We flew across the united states to do this, we wanted the whole experience. Disappointed.
Amazing tour
It was an amazing tour. Grand Canyon is unbelievable. We enjoyed it very much. Charles our driver/tour guide was absolutely fantastic. His historical knowledge and humour was amazing. Thanks again for a wonderful day.
