Itinerary
Spend the day exploring some of Iceland’s most iconic sights and reward yourself with a soak in the magical geothermal waters of the brand new geothermal spa Sky Lagoon
We start the day with a trip to Þingvellir National Park, the birthplace of Iceland’s Viking-age parliament and a site of great geological wonder—Iceland’s only UNESCO World Heritage site on the mainland.
Gullfoss is one of Iceland’s most powerful and picturesque waterfalls. Watch as the glacier river Hvítá drops in two tiers down into a canyon, where the spray from the water often appears as rainbows. Additionally, there is a café by Gullfoss where you can grab a quick bite to eat or a cup of coffee after walking down to the viewing platform.
Geysir geothermal area, the home of Iceland’s most famous hot springs and other geothermal features, including Strokkur a geyser that erupts every 7 to 10 minutes.
Pass by: Hot spring that erupts every few minutes
End your day with a rewarding and relaxing soak in Iceland's newest geothermal spa, Sky Lagoon. Located just outside of Reykjavik, this luxurious bathing lagoon includes magnificent panoramic views from the infinity pool. Also included is the Skjól wellness ritual that will leave you feeling refreshed and glowing.

Bus pickup from the hotel...
Bus pickup from the hotel was easy. The bus was very comfortable, and the tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The attractions are extraordinary and well worth the 6-hour trip.
Great day trip - Sky Lagoon was excellent!
We had a great day trip from Reykjavik that ended in the Sky Lagoon. We had booked pick-up from our hotel / bus stop but we were never picked up, as a result we had to make our own way to the central bus station and missed our trip start. However, the staff there were so kind and helpful that we were able to join the next tour starting two hours later. We had a fantastic day and quickly forgot about the frustrations of the morning! Highly recommend!
Dropped off at wrong hotel 2.5 kilometers away
The actual excursion itself was great. My issue was with my drop off. The bus driver kept arguing with me about my drop off location. He brought me to the wrong area and told me he couldn't park in front of my hotel even though I was picked up at my hotel in front of it, he said he couldn't go in front of it for some reason and had to drop me off two blocks and if I just walked up those two blocks I'd see my hotel. He kicked me off the bus sent me on my way only to find out he brought me to the wrong hotel and I was a 35-minute walk back. Gray lines were not answering their phones. I couldn't get a hold of anybody. I was just left out in the middle of nowhere on a cold, rainy windy day. Shame on you and shame on your drivers for not knowing where they're going and for not listening to your customers when they're telling you the area doesn't look familiar. Some trainings clearly needed. Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else
Very informative &...
Very informative & courteous guide. It was a great introduction to Iceland—its geography, history, lifestyle, and lovely people.
The bus NEVER showed up!!!!!
Do not book this tour through Viator! The bus never showed up. We waited almost an hour in the cold and no bus. I called their “24/7” customer service number multiple times and no one answered, I let it ring for 5 minutes once. Unfortunately, it was our last day and we were not able to go on the Golden Circle tour. Super frustrating and disappointing!!
