Itinerary
Stop at one of Iceland's biggest waterfalls, Skógafoss. If you're up for the challenge, you can climb all 527 steps to the observation deck, where you'll get the unique perspective of looking down on the waterfall flowing off the steep cliffs.
Explore Seljalandsfoss waterfall, a mighty waterfall with a cavern behind, so you can literally walk behind the waterfall if conditions allow.
Explore the famous black sand beach of Reynisfjara, where the Atlantic Ocean waves crash on the shore, sea stacks and basalt columns.
Visit Sólheimajökull glacier, where you will gear up with crampons and other safety equipment before hiking up on the glacier with an expert guide. Experience an Icelandic glacier from up close, and see the magical formations created in the ice such as crevasses and moulins.

Traveler reviews
Our tour guide was superb...
Our tour guide was superb and our Glacier guide was fabulous. This was our best tour experience in Reykjavik
Fun hike
The main focus of this tour is the glacier hike. We did not learn much about the waterfalls and black beach, maybe because there is nothing very interesting about them, though they look good. Black beach restaurant is quite good. The glacier hike is fun, easy, and safe. The guide for the hike is experienced and humorous.
Incredible journey
Gylfi was incredible on the glacier, I felt safe and well cared for. However, he never told us his name until he asked for us to review his tour. He was a bus driver that came to life on the glacier. Nice to have a small group, but the seat belt made me feel like I was in a straight jacket!
An unforgettable experience
It was a unique experience that was really interesting and will never be forgotten. The tour guide Gulfy, was excellent, patient, very knowledgeable and all round great guide.
Glacier Hije in Iceland.
Did the Glacier Hike with the Icelandic tour company. It was amazing. Only a small group of four plus our guide Denis Rosa. It was a three hour glacier hike and I was able to hire the necessary wet weather gear and hiking boots. Our guide explained the equipment needed to us and we set off. The first half hour is a walk through ashy terrain then a stop to put on crampons and then onto the glacier. It is not a hard hike but had to get used to walking with crampons on the ice. Our guide,Denis, informed us about the glacier and its movements. He was most attentive and really helped me as it was my first time walking with crampons and had to adjust my walking style. It was an unforgettable experience and a great way to find out more about Iceland
