Itinerary
Pass by: We depart from Belfast City Center, from the bus shelter in front of the famous Europa Hotel, on Great Victoria street at 9.45 am. Begin the journey in the company of your 100% Irish guide and your fellow travel partners for today, we'll get to know each other and have our charming guide set the scene as we take the drive through the rolling farmland of county Antrim to the North Coast of Ireland - an area of outstanding natural beauty.
We visit the most popular natural phenomena in Northern Ireland, the Dark Hedges. The trees were planted in the 18th century by the Stuart family to impress their guests upon arrival to their house. Most of you will recognize the Dark Hedges as King's Road from the hit TV series Game of Thrones. It is a wonderful photo-stop and an opportunity to be a part of a real life set!
Pass by: We make our way to the Causeway Coast where we can see fine views of Rathlin Island, and on a clear day we may even see the Scottish coast 13 miles away. The views along this coastline are spectacular, no wonder it is one of the most visited destinations in Europe!
The Giant's Causeway is the highlight of this trip for most! Built by the Irish giant Fionn and his Scottish rival Angus, it is a real masterpiece formed of perfectly shaped hexagonal columns. Your tour guide shall tell you more about the Causeway, and the legends of the area. The entrance fee for the visitor centre is not included as the UNESCO World Heritage Site is actually completely free of charge to the public. Based on years of guest feedback our guests prefer to have the best possible value price for the overall tour and then can make individual decisions locally as to whether they wish to access the adjacent visitor centre for a fee at the door.
We arrive at one of the most dramatic castle ruins in the world for a 1 hour stop, prepare to be amazed at the way this old castle hangs over the edge of the cliffs. Part of the Dunluce Castle fell into the sea in the 1600's, and some servants died in the tragedy. Since that time, it is believed to be haunted by the unfortunate servants. Take some impressive photos before we leave the coast and make our way to Belfast.
Pass by: Arrive back in Belfast safe and well around 05:00pm in downtown Belfast, your thirst for knowledge quenched and of course you can now say to all your friends that the top attractions in Northern Ireland are now crossed off your list!

Rudhed
We got to see the highlights but it was rushed. Would have appreciated more time at Dunluce castle and skipped the Dark Hedges
We had a great experience...
We had a great experience visiting the Giant’s Causeways. The landscape was beautiful and the guide was very knowledgeable!!
Amazing !!
Could not recommend this enough . Went with my girlfriend and we both had an amazing day out. Our tour guide Micheal was absolutely brillant , a great storyteller, funny , and so welcoming . The views were absolutely spectacular. 40 euro was a bargain.
An amazing day to Giants Causeway
A week ago today my daughter and I joined the Giants Causeway tour from Belfast. An amazing day including short visits to Dunluce Castle and the Dark Hedges. Special mention must be made of our lovely driver Eduardo, who as well as brilliantly negotiating some narrow roads kept us entertained. We hope to return sometime to see more of your beautiful island.
Beautiful scenery, biased (near bigoted) commentary
Loved the castle, loved the causeway and the scenery in between. Dark Hedges were a disappointment but all in all the places were superb. Driver and commentator Gerry, well I imagine back in Ireland he’s a good guy. However I didn’t like his tone. Too much focus on the Protestants not being welcoming, the Brits were murderers, Ireland should be Catholic and United and Winston Churchill was to blame for a famine in India in 1943. I think Churchill does have many bad points but in 1943 he might’ve been busy v Nazi Germany. Cromwell was a mass murderer and Bobby Sands and his IRA mates were not classed as murderers. Biased views, everywhere we went “I’m not welcome here, I wouldn’t go in here, these flags are not my flags.” I don’t care Gerry. I really don’t. I’d not be welcome in some places in Belfast, Londonderry or Glasgow but I’m not really spouting my views to strangers who are going on a tour of the Antrim Coast. Let it go and let the scenery talk for itself. For me the guy Gerry came across as a bitter wee man and there are too many of those across Ireland on both sides of their communities. And slow down a wee but on the bends and corners.
