Itinerary
Pass by: Probably the most famous avenue of the city, home of the most beautiful houses of Barcelona and of the most exclusive boutiques in town. Walk through luxury and elegance, get inspiration for your most glamorous outfit or ask to your guide for the best Michelin restaurants nearby.
Pass by: Have a look at the house that pioneered the modernist style in Barcelona, constructed by Domenech i Montaner, the teacher of Gaudi at university.
Pass by: Home of the famous chocolate makers of Barcelona, this house is a true gem of the modernist architecture. Take the chance to but some very good chocolate to bring home.
Pass by: The colour and fantasy of the Casa Batlló captivates passers-by on the Passeig de Gràcia. Standing halfway up this elegant boulevard and in a strongly contrasting style to the neighbouring houses, the Casa Amatller and Casa Lleó Morera, Gaudí's building reveals the splendour of an architect who was able to work on this project with total creative freedom, producing one of the most outstanding private houses in the world, listed among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Pass by: The Casa Milá, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the culmination of Antoni Gaudí's career, designed as a modernista building tailored to the new social needs, without forgetting his main source of inspiration: nature and organic forms.
Pass by: Along the way, pass by one of the true gems of modernist architecture to find out about the legend of St George, the Patron Saint of Barcelona and many other countries and cities…
Pass by: The life project of a genius, with no doubts the Sagrada Familia, will leave a lifelong impression. Experience a moment full of emotion, admiring Gaudi's masterpiece, considered as the most emblematic landmark of Barcelona. There are no words to describe the feeling one gets when entering this magnificent temple of Modernism. The organic shapes found throughout its structure, the light filtering through its stained glass windows and the symbolic nature of the building’s sculpted façade will certainly be the highlight of your tour.

Antonio’s Modernista tour of Barcelona
Antonio is a wonderful guide: friendly, knowledgeable, and interesting. We enjoyed his discussion of Barcelona’s history and architecture. He actually spent more than the allotted time with us, and we appreciated his modification of the route due to my partner’s mobility issues. I highly recommend Antonio’s tour.
Fun and super passionate tour of modernist Barcelona with Stephanie
Stephanie is an amazing guide (PhD in architecture and history) - passionate, witty, charismatic and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to tell us as much about modernist Barcelona as she possibly could. We learnt so much about Barcelona and beyond - highly recommend this tour!!
The tour takes one to...
The tour takes one to important (and beautiful!) Modernist landmarks. Standing in front of the Music Palace and some of the houses designed by Gaudi was a thrilling experience. Our guide was professional and friendly and knew so much about the subject of the tour. He transmitted admiration and understanding of Gaudi and his work.
Great Walk Around
Great knowledge sharing as you walk through the modernist architecture and learn the history of Barcelona as well as Gaudi. Jose Carlos was a superb guide-very knowledgeable & accommodating to his clients.
