Itinerary
The Florence Semi Private Walking Tour is a great opportunity to get an overall view of the historical treasures of Florence. Your professional local and expert Florence guide will take you around the beautiful and enchanting historical center of the city in your exclusively Small Group of MAX 6 PEOPLE, guaranteed, providing for a truly intimate and personalised experience that will give you the opportunity to truly feel the city’s vibrant cultural energy. The tour begins at the Piazza della Signoria, right across from the Palazzo Vecchio, which was once the home of the Medici family. Your guide will muse on the grandiose history of this important family, responsible for much of the architecture you will experience in Florence.
The walk continues through the outside courtyard of the Uffizi Gallery and the majestic and world-famous Ponte Vecchio. This incredible Bridge, one of Florence's most iconic spots, has maintained its timeless charm over the centuries, and it has long been home to many jewellery stores! Learn all about how this Bridge came to be, and how it became what we see today.
Your Expert guide will then take you into the deeper parts of the city’s mysteries, and proceed through highlights such as the Church of Santa Croce, and Piazza Repubblica. Admire the variety of Baroque and Renaissance architecture that make Florence so picturesque and timeless.
You will then continue on towards the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore, better known as the Duomo di Firenze. Admire this impressive 15th century cathedral and UNESCO heritage site considered Brunelleschi's architectural masterpiece. Your Expert guide will tell you everything there is to know about this incredible Church, its impressive facade, the Jubilee Door, and the Baptistery of Saint John, also located in Piazza del Duomo.
The final stop, a true cherry on top, will be the Galleria dell’Accademia where you will have a reserved entry and go straight in to admire the grand statue of David, by the Italian master Michelangelo. Be prepared to be truly moved by this artistic masterpiece, which leaves all of its visitors shocked at its incredible, eternal beauty.

Wonderful Tour
Great tour! Livia was our guide, it ended up being a private tour! She had great knowledge of Florence and its history. When possible, She took us down pathways and gardens that were away from the crowds. She gave good information regarding leather artisans and I made an informed purchase after the tour was over.
Great SMALL Group Tour
Emilia was an extremely professional and knowledgable guide to Florence. It was so nice to be in a small group to discover the important places in this city. Emilia was able to keep up with all of us amongst the huge crowds of larger tour groups and the experience was much more personal. She had great insights to share regarding the historic significance of many famous pieces of art as well which we found very interesting. Emilia also made many recommendations for “local favorites” to shop for Florentine goods or to go out to eat. Wonderful experience!
Florence highlights
Brenda was a great guide! She gave us a good, brief history of Florence. We walked to several of Florence's highlights . David was a highlight, viewing him from different angles and understanding the sculptural details.

Fantastic tour of Florence with Guilia
We were lucky enough to be able to take a great tour of Florence on a beautiful sunny April morning with Guilia. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and her being a student of art added to the what she shared with us. We got into the Accademia with only a brief wait. We had seen the Prisoners and the David before but learned so much more on this tour. When our tour was over she helped us find our lunch spot and hooked us up with her favorite gelateria.
