Traveler reviews
DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TOUR!!! Poor transportation arrangements!!!!!
We are on the bus now there is no legroom as we were left with the last two seats on the bus. The last 2 seats had about 4 inches between the seat and the seatback in front. We are traveling an hour and a half to Florence and feel this is ridiculous. We had mentioned it to the tour guide to request help so the people in front of us can move there seatbacks forward, but he offered no assistance and all he told us to complain on the website. I don’t normally do reviews but this is unacceptable and feels very much like a cattle call with no tour or assistance from the guide. Regret booking this tour and do not recommend!!!!!
Very beautiful city, but the promised services were not delivered. Disappointing compared to the description.
The cities of Pisa and Florence are very beautiful, but the organization leaves much to be desired. We paid an extra fee for the city tour while other participants benefited from it at no cost, without any clear explanation. Moreover, the glass of wine promised in Florence was never offered. It's a shame, as this does not match the described service.
Great excursion!
It was amazing!! Highly recommend. Great way to see both Florence and Pisa on your cruise. We had Federico and he was absolutely amazing. Super funny and speaks so many languages!
Wonderful day in Firenze and Pisa
Lumi was a wonderful guide. We took the shuttle from the port into Livorno's city centre and met Lumi there (shuttle was 7EU for the entire day). We were dropped off in Firenze and she gave us the choice of going on our own or following her. She was great in that she guided us to the "starting" point to go explore. We did the same in Pisa and she let us go first as she knew we had tickets to climb to the top so we wanted to get there in time. The only 'downside' is that we were expecting to be dropped off in Livorno's city centre so we could do some shopping afterwards and take the shuttle back but instead, they took us back to the ship! Not a big deal but then we had to catch the shuttle back to Livorno where we enjoyed a delicious ponche and did some shopping. Thank you Lumi!!
We took advantage of this...
We took advantage of this excursion while on a cruise stop in Livorno and it was definitely worth it as there wasn’t much else to do at the port. Our tour guide Alex was very personable as well as knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions that came up. The amount of time in each location (just over 3 hours in Florence and 1 hour in Pisa) was perfect for what we chose to do. They also made sure we made it back to the port in time and even made the extra effort to drop us off closer to our ships so that we boarded on time.
