Traveler reviews
Florence
Very well organized. Lots of discription of areas we were driving through. Bus driver was excellent. Highly recommend!
Don't waste your time on this bus
You do not see the buildings that they are describing on this trip. Or, you have passed the building before they describe it. This hop on hop off is definitely not worth going on
Great tour
Great tour. Martina is the best guide! She gives clear information, has great suggestions and is very personable. Loved the city.
A must do in Florence.
The hop on hop off bus is well worth considering. Make sure to queue in plenty of time because it gets very busy, especially if you want top deck with the nice breeze. We stayed on the blue route, approximately 1hr 15 minutes, and was fascinating...seeing some very interesting landmarks on the route - well worth it. Audio guide is available also via headphones. The bus took us to the highest point to give us stunning views over the city. Busses run every 25/35 minutes to give plentiful options. City full of history and archaeology / architecture
Disappointing and Delayed
30-45 minutes wait between busses. Even the staff selling tickets was frustrated. Waiting for the bus for so long greatly decreased the amount of time we had to enjoy the city. Staff seemed disinterested in giving detailed directions. I asked, “Where is the Santa Croce from this stop?” and was met with a non-committal wave towards the front of the bus and no specifics.
