Hop on Off in Florence: chaotic and unacceptably bad
Our hop on/off experience in Florence today was terrible. We walked to Meeting Point 3 at Largo Fratelli Alinari and the bus was an hour late. The queue was so long there and the bus was so full, that only a few people could board. There were many seats on the upper level which were out of order. At each stop, only one or two people could board if they were lucky, so we could not hop off anywhere, otherwise we would have had to wait a long time to get back onto a bus. In addition, we bought our tickets for the advertised two routes (Line A and Line B). However, when we arrived at the meeting point, we were told that Line B was not working. Everything about this tour was a huge disappointment.
Disappointed
We only had one line to ride today with no prior warning so it was a great deal of money to pay for an hours round trip!

Only A tour was running. The audio was out on several seats so they were roped off (limiting seating options). The audio was very informative and easy to understand. The staff was very helpful. It was a good way to start our stay in Florence
Wasted my money
Terrible organization on this. Can’t find where to catch the bus. Went to location I saw one yesterday and after 2 hours it never came! Have used Hop on Hop off in many other cities! But Florence does not have maps available I can find and nothing publicly marked. Wasted my money!
