Highlight of our Belfast trip

Joe was an excellent tour guide, his incorporation of his personal lived experiences from The Troubles, made the tour even more poignant and meaningful

1st person perspective of Northern Ireland political conflict

Excellent way to get a historical perspective from locals who witnessed the struggle in Belfast.

Just wish we had more time!

Joe was so informative, kind, and patient with our large group of opinionated, loud people with varying abilities. He waited twenty minutes for us while we checked out of our hotel and helped us work out changing our appointment at Titanic Belfast. He contextualized all the sights and murals for us, and had a nuanced, informed answer to every question we asked. He also jumped in to help us get pictures, which we especially appreciated since we were able to capture the whole family. He made sure to learn about us and our special interests for the tour and prior knowledge, and curated as he went to make it the best possible experience for us all. I don’t think this could have been better, and I would strongly recommend him and this tour for anyone interested in an informed and immersive exposition of political history in Belfast.
