"The Troubles" brought to life by Joe McCollough in Belfast

I was able to go with my son on the Belfast Murals Tour with Joe McCollough on an EF trip we just got back from last month. Knowing next to nothing about "The Troubles" and the conflict in Belfast, I was amazed with how Joe was able to bring it all to life from some of the events decades ago and even some in the last few weeks. Joe was charismatic, honest and frankly a great tour guide. His open personal approach to speaking to us like his friends about "The Troubles" and how his life interected these events made it all come to life. My son and I getting to sign the wall separating the two sides of Belfast was an emotional highlight, and I hope one day that wall is torn down. I would highly recommend this tour, and Joe McCollough specifically as a top tier guide. Thanks Joe, you are a real one 100%.

Don’t leave Belfast without doing one of these tours.

Ian was an amazing tour guide, explained everything clearly and encouraged questions. It was eye opening to see what Belfast was like during the troubles and what has carried through to today. The tour was scheduled for 1.5hrs but he didn’t rush and allowed us a 2hr tour. Would recommend to anyone wanting context of the city.

Joe was amazing!!

We did the tour while on a trip with EF tour. Joe was our guide. He was amazing. Joe took us on an emotional roller coaster. We were laughing and almost crying at the same time. I highly recommend booking Joe as your tour guide if you are considering taking this tour!
