Don't waste your time or money! Such a disappointment. 😓

Extreme Paranormal was such a massive disappointment. Not what was described as all. No spooky stories as we walked around Edinburgh. In the graveyard it was all matter of fact, no mention of the Poltergeist or Burke and Harris at all at this point. Our guide Dr Frederick Knox was a pleasant person but did not maintain character, thought they were funny (most of the time they weren't). Basically a pretty naff walking tour with odd bits of history, although left wondering how much was factually accurate as waffled and vague. Underground was mediocre and had history of it being found in the 80s rather than details about spooky going ons. For such a large city with rich history a total disappointment. We booked with them as they had a booth in the city and not simply an online presence so felt this should give some reassurance of quality, unfortunately not. We had read online reviews before booking and overall was 4.7, we saw some absolutely raving about quality of their guide and experience as well as many rating 1 with not dissimilar feedback to our own. We had hoped that we wouldn't be joining the 1 stars but alas we are. I would not recommend this trip to anyone, a complete rip off. Don't waste your time and money. Definitely the low point in our long weekend in Edinburgh. We have requested a refund as we feel that what we got was nothing like described and did not justify the £80+ for four of us. We await to see if our email is responded to.

A tour you shouldn't miss

Robbie Dikks was truly great for the job. A lot of valuable information, about both the history of Edinburgh, and the characters chosen.

Scary stories yes, underground not so much.

This is not an underground tour. We only sent 10-15 min in a small, damp room/cellar. The rest was spent walking in the streets of the city and a cemetery. The guide was a charismatic persona who relied a bit to much on joking. It was funny at first but the joking got heavier through the tour and in the end it made the ghost stories seem made up and the storie teller appear unreliabel. But he did make a few good jump scares so cudos to that.
