Engaging and enlightening history tour
Excellent tour and well worth the money. Morvan was an incredibly knowledgeable and engaging guide. She had a deep knowledge of the city and kept us amused with anecdotes that brought Edinburgh’s history to life. Highly recommend.
Impressive knowledge,too much for us
First of all, I’d like to mention that we’d expected something different from the tour. We thought it would mainly take place underground and showcase the old town. In fact, it was mostly above ground and packed with so many historical facts that we couldn’t really take them all in in such a short time. We felt that too many names of people were mentioned, as if we were somehow expected to already be familiar with Scottish history. The guide had an impressive knowledge. The group size was generally good. Parts of the tour took place on busy roads, meaning the guide couldn’t be heard and we were ‘in the way’ on the pavement.
MUST DO
This walking tour was by far the best thing we did! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and very captivating in the way she spoke and gave plenty of recommendations for our trip. We got to see Edinburgh in a completely new light. The company was super easy to book with, very friendly and our guide Aurorz was very easy to talk to and more than happy to answer our questions!
