Itinerary
Meet your expert, English speaking tour guide outside the Colosseum and enjoy priority entrance to the Colosseum, the most iconic monument of Ancient Rome and see where the Gladiators stood. Breathe in the spine-tingling atmosphere and enjoy unparalleled views of the tiered rows that could seat up to 80,000 cheering spectators. Look down to the eerie underground network of passages and elevators where ferocious beasts and gladiators would wait to make their grand entrance.
Explore the opulent Imperial palaces on the Palatine Hill, where the emperors lived surrounded by hundreds of slaves and aristocrats.
See the newly opened Domus Tiberiana and learn how luxurious the lifestyle of Rome’s elites really was.
Step into the fascinating 6th-century church Santa Maria Antiqua with frescoes showing a glimpse into early Christian culture.
Walk in the footsteps of the everyday Romans as you wander into the Valley of the Gods. Admire the majestic ruins of the pagan temples, the Vestal Virgins’ mansion, and the impressive Roman Curia and learn about Roman life and politics.

This was the best tour I have ever been on. Our guide, Luca, was so incredibly knowledgeable about Roman history. He had an interesting answer for every single question I asked him, and he took us to a lot of cool places that most tourists never get to see. I highly recommend this experience!
