Itinerary
Experience a Gaelic Games session at a local Gaelic club called "Na Fianna", just 10 minutes bus journey from city centre. Our modern facility includes a dedicated visitor centre. Three public bus routes (number 4, 9 and 155) stop directly across the road. Sessions start with an introduction which includes history of the games, their revered place in Irish life. Following the engaging introduction, it's outside where you'll partake in gentle team building activities of Gaelic Football, Hurling and Handball. You’ll need flat footwear and a willingness to have fun. Casual clothing is preferable. Bring sporting attire if you'll get competitive. There is water, tea/coffee available. If you wish to use our on-site dressing rooms/showers, please bring your own towels/toiletries. Interaction makes the event: our trainers are great; they are passionate about their beloved games and really interact with visitors. Depending on the group you most likely play mini-matches - all in good fun!

Definitely Recommend!!
Stephen was a great instructor and our experience was amazing! We learned and played the basic skills of hurling and Gaelic football. Our family of four, including two teenage boys, rated it as one of the top highlights of our trip to Ireland! We would definitely recommend it to an active, sporty family!
So much fun!
I came as a chaperone with a group of American university students. THIS WAS A BLAST! We all had so much fun. We got a chance to learn about the world of gaelic game clubs and try out hurling, gaelic football, and gaelic handball. The trainers were lovely, helpful, fun, and encouraging. I would not hesitate at all to bring another group of students here. (And these students might be starting gaelic pick-up games back state-side.)
Totally unique experience with wonderful instructors
This is the perfect activity for those who enjoy history and sports. There was one gentleman who ran the history/intro part of the day and another young man, Andrew, who served as our coach and both were class acts--very knowledgable, kind and passionate about the Irish culture. I went with my family of 4 (kids ages 8 and 14) and the rest of our group happened to be college students who were doing an internship also from Texas. You get an overview of 3 sports, get to try them out in drills and then anyone who wants to can play a quick match. It turned out to be a great activity for our family (2 major sports fans and 2 good sports), partly because it was very interactive/good way for my son to get out some energy and partly because the instructors were so wonderful. I also appreciated the fact that a bunch of seniors were using the clubhouse to go through old newspaper articles and another big group was having a luncheon--it was nice to see a range of generations using the community center and sharing the Irish culture.
Fantastic stag activity
Well worth it. Went on a stag, 15 of us. Recommend it as 10/10. Everybody enjoyed it.
Gaelic games experience
I can’t even begin to describe how much fun we had experiencing the Gaelic games. Our trainer was super friendly and knowledgeable and we left there eager to learn and play more. If you are looking for something fun and interesting to experience in Dublin I highly recommend this.
