Rocio rocks
Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the huacas of El Brujo. Learnt a lot which is always the measure for me. Rocio did a great job, enthusiastic and knowledgable, was great to have her as my guide. Great day!
The Lady of Cao! A fascinating encounter with a woman from another time, preserved like a mummy! Fascinating !!!
Best visited with a guide, a timeless journey to the pre-Incan era, several millennia ago! A fascinating encounter with a woman who was a leader of her people thousands of years before female emancipation! Photos prohibited, but incredible images!!!
The treasures of the Lady of Cao
This is a great tour though mostly for the amazing treasures contained in the museum of the Lady of Cao. The temple itself is in a poorer state of preservation than the temple of the moon though it is still worth the trip. Unfortunately some of the ruins were off limits to tourists while they were repairing the roof however we still saw the main areas of the ruins.
Our guide showed no interest or...

Our guide showed no interest or enthusiasm in taking us around the site. His commentaries were rote and banal, and when we tried to take our questions further and deeper, little was coming from him. This tour was a waste of time and money, as was the tour we took with the same guide the previous day. VIATOR should vet its guide more carefully, and based on our Trujillo experiences I will not recommend you to friends and family in the future.
