Traveler reviews
Well worth the upgrade to semi-private.
We did the semi-private tour. Our guide, Massimo was amazing…informative, funny, attentive. The tour had a a great pace and highlighted all the pieces we expected to see and many we didn’t even know about.
Awe Inspiring!
Our tour was with Cathy through LivTours. She was absolutely incredible. She brought her own book of all of the highlights and shared with us many things while we waited to get in so we had points of reference once inside. Just a wealth of knowledge and so patient and friendly. We did the early morning skip the line, and our kids 19, 19, 17, and 13 had a little trouble by the end, but all in all excellent experience and highly recommend.
Best way to visit the Vatican, Museum, Sistine Chapel and St Peter's.
Our guide was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St Peters. Definitely take the semi-private tour. Reminder that you still have to stand in line to enter the museum but it is a short wait. this is due to the fact you meet at 7:3o but the museum doesn't open until 8:00AM
Great Tour
It’s fast.. and I get why. You won’t be seeing everything and really there’s no way to do that. I highly recommend this tour for sure. You see the main things and that’s all you can ask for. It would take weeks to really see everything here. You get a micro dose and some great insights.
Highly recommend the early morning tour!
This tour is a must if you are visiting Rome! A small group of only 6 people means you actually get to engage directly with your guide and also don’t spend all your time waiting for other people. The early morning start may feel hard but even at 8am there are so many people there so absolutely worth the 7.15am meeting time. Our guide, Vita, was exceptional. Her knowledge of the history of the Vatican City and St Peter’s Basilica was amazing only topped by her ability to share the stories in an engaging way (a must if you are travelling with teenagers). She was friendly, informative and was able to pace the tour perfectly. Thank you Vita. Honestly - pay the extra money for this tour. You won’t regret it. Highly recommend!
