- Please be aware that the Sistine Chapel is a Holy Place and talking inside is strictly forbidden. In the Express Access to the Sistine Chapel Tour the first 30 minutes of the tour are held outside of the Museums in order to give you a comprehensive explanation before entering the chapel.
- Vatican management maintains the right to delay the opening of the Sistine Chapel for religious reasons, in this case the guide will modify the itinerary and extend your visit of the museums to ensure you make the most of your time before access to the Sistine Chapel is permitted.

Great early morning Vatican Tour with Fabrizio!
We had a great early morning Vatican and St. Peter’s tour with Fabrizio. With the crowds there, I don’t think we would have enjoyed it nearly as much without him. He navigated everything really easily and kept us moving without feeling rushed. He explained things clearly, pointed out details we wouldn’t have noticed, and was very kind. Our small group size made it even better. I’d definitely recommend this tour, especially the early morning option.
Early entry to Vatican is worth it
We had a great time, getting in early was fantastic. The guide, Massimo, was great, extremely knowledgeable and fun, too. He also knew many of the tour guides and staff at the sites and they seemed to enjoy him. We saw and learned things we wouldn’t have been able to on our own.

My first but not last experience in Rome
First, our tour guide Sabrina was terrific!!! She knew so much we told her she should have been a college professor. The beauty, architecture and colossal size of everything we saw was mind boggling and Sabrina’s knowledge was so helpful in understanding what was happening in ancient times. The hallways and rooms were stunning and endless and finally seeing the Sistine Chapel in person was fantastic. It was everything and more that you have seen in books or on TV and our guide Sabrina had all the answers. Unfortunately this is the only place on the entire tour where you were not allowed to take pictures. Our last stop on the tour was the church next to the chapel, which is the largest in the world. Words cannot describe the enormity and stunning architecture and beauty of this building. You could spend days just looking at it all. I highly recommend this tour in that in the short time you have it gives you a look at everything. Also, to me, being in a small group (7) is the only way to go. There are hundreds of people around you at all times looking at the same thing you are looking at. You are literally squeezed into a mob of people surrounding you so having a tight small group is the only way to go. When I go back I will definitely use Liv Tours and hopefully get Sabrina as my guide.
