Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones & Lokrum island Tour

Be prepared to learn the history of GoT. Super helpful to see where scenes were filmed and the pictures side by side. Note, there is some walking up the fort so wear appropriate shoes. Also need to buy tickets for the fort and also ferry to Lokrum (if you added Lokrum to your tour).

We really enjoyed this tour, our guide Mario was really knowledgeable, and really easy going, and made it a great experience. The instructions for the meeting point were really clear and we found the spot no problem. I would recommend getting the Dubrovnik pass before you go so you don’t waste time having to buy tickets to get into the fortress and you also have to buy the Lokrum Island tickets separately but Mario had a qr code for us to scan to buy the tickets before we started the tour so we weren’t wasting time queueing up. All in all a great experience and would highly recommend this excursion - it’s definitely worth adding the extra hour on for Lokrum and I would do this tour in the morning as then you are left plenty of time in the afternoon to explore Lokrum island. Make sure you are wearing your swimming clothes!

It was great learning about the behind the scenes information and our guide showing us photos from the show while we were at the location. Very informative and entertaining.. Photo opportunity sitting on the iron throne was cool. Lokrum Island was beautiful.
