Full description

Your Dublin sweet adventure begins on the south side of the River Liffey, where centuries of history, lively streets, and an exciting food scene come together. Over the next two hours, we’ll explore the heart of Dublin on foot while enjoying delicious donuts, churros, and plenty of Irish culture along the way.

We’ll kick things off with freshly made donuts, giving you the perfect introduction to Dublin’s growing donut scene. Expect a mix of classic favorites and creative flavors before we head out to explore some of the city’s most famous streets and neighborhoods.

From there, we’ll make our way toward Dame Street for something completely different: warm, freshly prepared churros. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and covered in plenty of sweetness, they’re a delicious change of pace from our first stop.

Our journey continues into Temple Bar, one of Dublin’s most recognizable neighborhoods. Famous for its cobblestone streets, colorful pubs, live music, restaurants, and unmistakable energy, there’s much more to Temple Bar than its nightlife. As we explore, your guide will share stories about Dublin’s history, culture, and the characters who have helped shape the city.

Next, we’ll cross the River Liffey and head toward Dublin’s Northside. Here, we’ll make our way to O’Connell Street, one of the city’s most important thoroughfares. Surrounded by historic buildings, monuments, and reminders of Ireland’s past, it provides a fascinating contrast to the narrow streets of Temple Bar.

Of course, we’ll need more donuts. Our next tasting brings another delicious selection before we cross back toward the south side of the river for our final stop. Here, we’ll finish with creative donuts featuring bold flavors and plenty of personality, the perfect finale to our adventure.

Along the way, we’ll experience the River Liffey, Temple Bar, Dame Street, O’Connell Street, and the bustling heart of Dublin City Centre.

Come hungry and ready to explore. This family-friendly walking tour combines incredible donuts, warm churros, Dublin history, famous neighborhoods, local culture, and plenty of fun into one unforgettable sweet adventure through the Irish capital.

The tour was quite long and it was difficult to keep the kids engaged. The donut store was the best stop where we got to choose a donut. At the rest of the stops the food items were pre ordered and we didn’t get a choice which was a bit disappointing. I was also unhappy that the tour ended at a different location to the starting point - we were handed a map and had to find our own way back. Having never been to Cork before, this wasn’t particularly easy and we had to run to catch our train back to Cobh.

Kat was a great guide. The donuts were delicious and she also included a lot of history of Toronto. The walk was an easy pace and gave us time to prepare for the next round. She provided us with other places to taste Toronto food and there was time to grab some of that food too. We loved the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Toronto!
