After a brief introduction, your guide will review the day’s program and itinerary with you, then you will settle into your premium, air‑conditioned vehicle and set off towards the vineyards of the Côte de Beaune.
Arriving in Côte de Beaune
Soon you arrive in the Côte de Beaune, the southern half of the Côte d’Or, a renowned Burgundy sub‑region that stretches for around 20–25 kilometers and produces both red and white wines from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. A pleasant short boat ride, beautiful surroundings. But the English translation did not fit with the altered tour, did not mention plenty of formations that the guide was explaining in French and didn't bother to switch to English for the rest of us (yes he knew English), so we missed out on a lot. Plus the guide made fun of english speakers, as evidenced by the pointed laughter in the direction of those wearing headphones.
Our guide was excellent, both knowledgeable and friendly. She was especially knowledgeable about the wine industry even before we got to the vineyards
Kurzweilige Rundreise zu 3 touristisch ausgerichteten Weingütern samt kleiner Verkostung. Transport im Mini-Van in Kleingruppe. Info durch Fahrer und perfekt instruierte örtliche Guides. Die Medoc-Tour ist auf Wein ausgerichtet, keine Sehenswürdigkeiten, sondern extrem sehenswerte Weinkeller. Ein ganzer Tag war (für uns) die richtige Dauer.
