Itinerary
Delhi metro has always fascinated people from outside this city, reason being it has connected Delhi to its satellite cities such as Faridabad, Gurgaon, Noida etc in an efficient way. When in Delhi you can’t afford to miss the chance of visiting the world’s 10th longest metro system in terms of length and 16th largest system in ridership.
It is the 1921 ‘Tomb of the Unknown Soldier’ (India Gate ) wherein names of 13,300 Indian army servicemen who died in during the First World War are carved on the walls. It is also the place where an eternal flame burns in soldier’s remembrance.
It is an impressive 330 acres architecture of 1929, constructed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker who are in fact responsible for constructing almost whole of the New Delhi. This beauty has its own interesting history and is considered the second largest in the world after Quirinal Palace in Italy.
It is originally a bungalow of Indian Ruler, this Sikh shrine history of transformation into a religious place is a must known. Built in the 1780’s this shrine offers food (Lungar) 24*7.

Traveler reviews
Fantastic sights tastes and sounds
Fantastic tour starting on the metro for a clean comfortable ride to old delhi for a fascinating rickshaw ride through the markets and narrow backstreets. Stopped along the way for some delicious snacks and a walking tour of spice markets and finally indias largest mosque. Highly recommended,
Relax and Comfy travel.
I travel safely and relax by train, doesn't stop at your station, then it's not your train. Travel isn't always pretty. It isn't always comfortable, but I avoid traffic and stress. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that's OK. The best tales are on rails. Racing with shadows, one rail at a time. Train where desire to travel meets steel, ocean meets plastic and rubber.
