Continue your tour to Figueres, a small town near the French border and the birthplace of Salvador Dalí, only fifteen kilometres away from the Mediterranean Sea, at the foot of the Pyrenees and surrounded by three natural parks. You'll be fascinated by the Dalí Theatre-Museum, both inside and outside, and by the vibrant lifestyle of this small town. Explore the streets where Dalí spent his early years, as well as some of the places he frequented as an adult.
Dali wanted to leave a mark on his own native city and decided to built the Dali Theatre-Museum upon the ruins of the old municipal theatre. This present that Dali gave to the city is considered as the largest work of surrealist art in the world. Plunge deep into the painter's creative mind by visiting the museum and experiencing a comprehensive collection of the peculiar exhibitions. Get prepared to be amazed by this inspiring piece of art that will definitely mark your day.
Dalí Joyas is a permanent exhibition of the Dalí Theater-Museum in Figueres (Girona). The exhibition, which shows the jewels that Dalí designed between 1941 and 1979, includes the thirty-seven jewels of gold and precious stones from the Owen Cheatham collection, two jewels made later, and the twenty-seven drawings and sketches that Salvador Dalí made to design the jewels.

Traveler reviews
A great tour, that will turn anyone into a Dali fan
Vincent, our guide did a great job of coordinating the day so it went smoothly, despite a major traffic issue because of accident. He is very personable and really knows his stuff. Ask any question about Dali or the area and he can answer it. He offered great suggestions as to where to go, where to change for the beach and what to avoid. He even taught us how to use our elbows, if necessary, to make sure we saw everything at the museum. Though the ride to the museum was long, the scenery along the was nice and it offered an opportunity for a quick nap. I would give this tour, and Vincent 5-stars all the way.

Gaspar was an exceptional tour guide and he was very knowledgeable en-route to our destinations from start to finish! Telling us stories about Salvador Dalí’s upbringing and life to information about the areas of Spain we were driving through. We learned a lot and couldn’t have asked for a better day. The Dalí Museum and Costa Brava were absolutely amazing! I cannot forget to mention how great of a driver he is, especially when we were able to avoid a traffic jam! I highly recommend booking this day trip with Gaspar!
