You'll be fascinated by the Dalí Theatre-Museum, both inside and outside, and by the vibrant lifestyle of this small town. Explore the streets where Dalí spent his early years, as well as some of the places he frequented as an adult.
Dali wanted to leave a mark on his own native city and decided to built the Dali Theatre-Museum upon the ruins of the old municipal theatre. This present that Dali gave to the city is considered as the largest work of surrealist art in the world. Dalí Joyas is a permanent exhibition of the Dalí Theater-Museum in Figueres (Girona). The exhibition, which shows the jewels that Dalí designed between 1941 and 1979, includes the thirty-seven jewels of gold and precious stones from the Owen Cheatham collection, two jewels made later, and the twenty-seven drawings and sketches that Salvador Dalí made to design the jewels.
Continue the tour and drive through an incredible scenery full of colors, where the sea and the Pyrenees mountains collide. Arrive in Cadaqués and get enchanted by this picturesque little town, shaped by its emblematic white houses and surrounded by a colourful and relaxing landscape.
Cadaques is located in the protected territory of the natural park of Cap de Creus, a natural park located at the most northeastern point of the Iberian Peninsula. It was the first marine-terrestrial park in Catalonia and protects a large part of the peninsula of Cape Creus. Between land and the sea, Cap de Creus is a space of great beauty, endowed with a unique geological configuration, with structures and outcrops that form a unique set in the world.
Continue your tour to discover Port Lligat, a small Spanish Mediterranean town in the municipality of Cadaqués, located in a cove of Cape Creus. Salvador Dalí was enchanted by the calmness of this village that decided to settle his own house in this magic corner of the Cap de Creu Natural Park. Traveler reviews
A day of Dali
I had a wonderful private tour with Hengameh and drive Augusto on the Dali Triangle Tour (Figueres, Cadaqués, and Portlligat). The drive was beautiful and very comfortable. First, we visited the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres, which was an amazing experience to learn more about Salvador Dalí and his unique artwork. Then we continued to the charming seaside town of Cadaqués, where Dalí spent many summers. Costa Brava is absolutely stunning! I had lunch there by the beautiful coast. 🥘🌊 Finally, we visited Salvador Dalí House Museum in Portlligat, which was fascinating and gave great insight into Dalí’s life and home. Hengameh was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole day enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommended!
Winners!
Dulce, our tour guide and Wander, our driver were both AMAZING! Dulce was friendly, professional and made our day special. She explained information and details about the museum and artist, like a true teacher. Wander expertly drove us in a safe manner, navigating hairpin turns and busy traffic. We appreciated and highly recommend our tour to others., What a winning combo Dulce and Wander proved to be, and made it a fun experience.

Dali Experience was the best!
Learned so much about Salvador Dali! Our guide Dulce and driver Wander were wonderful. So kind and accommodating!
Fantastic.
Our Guide, Hengama was a complete joy. Her passionate and incredibly insightful and deep knowledge of Dali, the context in which his work was made was so well presented I felt like I’d taken the most joyful art class I’ve ever taken. Also her history of the areas we traveled through. She and John Carlos were always on point, fun traveling companions and just great guides and company. I would glady tour with them any time. Thanks for the experience.
