Led by an expert guide, the tour blends historical explanation with meaningful visits to key locations, offering a comprehensive and moving introduction to the American experience of D-Day.
Utah Beach — The Beginning of the American Landings
Utah Beach marked the westernmost landing zone of the Normandy invasion. On the morning of June 6, 1944, approximately 23,000 American soldiers landed here as part of Operation Overlord, supported by airborne troops from the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions who had parachuted inland hours earlier. Despite challenging conditions, the landings achieved their objectives with relatively fewer casualties compared to other sectors, allowing Allied forces to establish a crucial foothold in Normandy.
Omaha Beach — The Hardest Fight
Omaha Beach became the most fiercely contested landing area of D-Day. Strong German defenses overlooking the shoreline caused heavy American losses before troops successfully broke through and advanced inland. Today, the peaceful coastline contrasts sharply with the events that unfolded here, making it one of the most powerful memorial landscapes of World War II.
Normandy American Cemetery
Overlooking Omaha Beach, the Normandy American Cemetery honors more than 9,000 American soldiers who lost their lives during the Normandy campaign. The site remains one of the most moving memorials in Europe and an essential place of remembrance.
Understanding the Bigger Picture

Reviews
Great time with Lena our driver who took us to all those fairytale places, you have enough time too go around, take photos and enjoy. I recommend it
It was amazing!! The only thing was the lavender fields were not what I expected
