Exclusive Full‑Day Côte de Nuits Wine Tour for Two

Discover the very best of Burgundy’s Pinot Noir on a private full‑day journey from Dijon to the prestigious Côte de Nuits, designed exclusively for two guests. This intimate tour blends legendary vineyards, historic sites and memorable tastings along the iconic Route des Grands Crus.

Seamless pickup & expert guide
Your day begins with pickup in Dijon, from your hotel, accommodation or a central meeting point. Meet your English‑speaking local guide, a true Burgundy wine specialist, who will outline the day’s program before you settle into a comfortable, air‑conditioned premium vehicle reserved just for you.

Picturesque drive on the Route des Grands Crus
Head south onto the famous Route des Grands Grus, often called the “Champs‑Élysées of Burgundy”, as you wind through some of the most celebrated vineyards in the world. Take in the views of rolling hills and perfectly aligned vines as you pass quaint villages such as Fixin, Gevrey‑Chambertin, Chambolle‑Musigny and Vosne‑Romanée. Stop near the legendary Romanée‑Conti vineyard for photos and a clear, accessible explanation of Burgundy climats, appellations and classifications.

Morning prestige tasting in a local cellar
Your first stop is a local winery or private cellar in the Côte de Nuits, where you enjoy a guided tasting of selected wines. Taste elegant Côte de Nuits Pinot Noirs and, where available, other cuvées while your guide explains how soil, slope, exposure and winemaking choices create such nuanced styles. This commented session is tailored to your level, whether you are just discovering Burgundy or already a seasoned enthusiast.

Optional gourmet lunch (pre‑bookable)
Midday, you can enhance your tour with an optional gourmet lunch added at the time of booking:

  • Option 1 – Wine‑tasting lunch at a family estate: A set menu of regional dishes paired with the domaine’s Premier Cru or Grand Cru wines (not available on Sundays).

  • Option 2 – Lunch in a vineyard restaurant: A relaxed meal in a local vineyard bistro or restaurant, featuring classic Burgundy cuisine and carefully chosen local wines by the glass or bottle.

Afternoon: Clos de Vougeot & second tasting
In the afternoon, continue along the wine road to the historic Château du Clos de Vougeot, founded by Cistercian monks in the 12th century. Explore the ancient vat house, monumental presses and atmospheric cellars as you learn how the Cistercians shaped Burgundy’s wine history and why Clos de Vougeot remains a symbol of the Grand Cru vineyards today.

Afterward, visit a second prestigious estate or private cellar in the Côte de Nuits for a final tasting of red vintages. Here you compare different expressions of Pinot Noir, delve deeper into vinification techniques and aging, and enjoy practical tips on serving, pairing and cellaring, with your guide on hand to answer all your questions.

Relaxed return to Dijon
As the day draws to a close, sit back and enjoy the scenic drive back through the vineyards. You return to Dijon in the late afternoon, dropped at your hotel or preferred central location, with unforgettable memories of the Côte de Nuits, its landscapes and its world‑class wines.

Our tour of Chambord and Chenonceau Chateaus with Flore was great. My husband and I were the only ones on the tour so we had Flore all to ourselves. The pick up location was very easy - right in front of the Tours Information Centre. We felt we had just the right amount of time to spend at each chateau. Flore also took us to Amboise for lunch and showed us lots of restaurant options in a beautiful part of the town. Flore was very engaging and friendly and was happy to answer my many questions. I felt that we got so much more value from having a guide. There’s so many details we would have missed if we had gone to these places on our own. Thankyou Flore for a wonderful day out in the Loire Valley.
