Sadly, my boyfriend and I had this trip booked during our vacation, but the weather didn’t quite hold out for us and we weren’t able to go. The fantastic communication and understanding we received from Cathy and the skipper was worth a review though. They started by communicating with us a few days prior and kept us updated on weather patterns. When it started looking worse they contacted us and gave us the option to cancel or change the trip to be more accommodating to the weather. As it usually goes with weather, it’s very unpredictable and it wasn’t until the night before that we decided to cancel because our priority was to spend time on the boat and that wasn’t going to be enjoyable with the swells that were expected. Cathy was more than understanding and allowed us to cancel past Viator’s 24 hour policy and even helped me get my full refund back. In speaking with her it was clear they were most concerned about us having a good time. That’s what really stood out to me. So I would highly recommend this charter to anyone, as I’m sure it would be an amazing trip because of the care and attention they put into making sure the guests enjoy themselves. I also hope to make it back to be able to enjoy this charter myself.
