Full description

Join this spectacular journey along the breathtaking Wild Atlantic Way, through the lunar-like landscape of the Burren and on to the iconic Cliffs of Moher. See medieval ruins, 16th century tower house castles, churches, graveyards, drystone walls, quays, harbours, ponies, calves, cows, lambs, sheep and maybe even a leprechaun or two! Driving along the coast of Clare, witness the power of the Atlantic Ocean as it battles the coastline. Board the ferry in Doolin for Inisheer, the smallest and nearest of the Gaeltacht Aran Islands. Keep an eye out for local bottlenose dolphins that occasionally follow the ferry. On Inisheer, explore ancient castles, churches, narrow lanes, stone walls and deserted white sand beaches.  The return ferry takes you on a guided scenic cruise beneath the spectacular Cliffs of Moher. Worth it!

Our guide, Phil, was fun and knowledgeable. He kept us entertained during the bus ride. The tour itself was amazing. The chance to see the cliffs from the water was worth the rain. The boat pilot gives you plenty of time to take photos and enjoy the spectacular views. The island was charming and gorgeous. We would definitely recommend this tour to others.

Amazing!!!

This was a 10/10 experience! Love that it is a local family business I was supporting. Our guide Phil was amazing and kept things fun and lively. I always felt safe and I was quite impressed with his driving skills. I would book the same exact tour again in the future…seeing the cliffs from the water was an absolute highlight!!!!

Beware refund policy is a lie

Everything was good until they had to cancel part of the tour due to weather. Totally understandable but don’t believe their listing that says they will refund you for any cancellation as they definitely will not! We booked this tour specifically to see the cliffs from the water. It’s the one thing they couldn’t provide that day. We only asked for a 1/4 th refund for missing that part of the tour and were denied through Ireland Wild Escapes and Viator. We were not offered anything additional that day to make up for it, we just sat at the top of the cliffs longer to kill time. It’s unfortunate they aren’t truthful in their posting as the bus driver was wonderful, as was the rest of the trip. So just beware if you book, unless they cancel the entire tour or you do before your cancellation date, you are out your money if they can’t provide the trip they scheduled.

Amazing tour of one of...

Amazing tour of one of the Aran Islands and to see the cliffs from the water and land was a great showcase of their size with a better understanding of how they were formed. We were also lucky that the weather held out for the day.

Stunning!

Amazing experience! I recommend getting the horse and carriage on the island to see the shipwreck, then doing the castle. Should still give you enough time for lunch. For the cliffs, definitely ride on the top deck of the boat. You'll get wet, but its well worth it for the views! The guide was great, very knowledgeable. We saw 4 or 5 castles from the bus just driving to and from the attractions!
