Full description

Join this spectacular journey along the breathtaking Wild Atlantic Way, through the lunar-like landscape of the Burren and on to the iconic Cliffs of Moher. See medieval ruins, 16th century tower house castles, churches, graveyards, drystone walls, quays, harbours, ponies, calves, cows, lambs, sheep and maybe even a leprechaun or two! Driving along the coast of Clare, witness the power of the Atlantic Ocean as it battles the coastline. Board the ferry in Doolin for Inisheer, the smallest and nearest of the Gaeltacht Aran Islands. Keep an eye out for local bottlenose dolphins that occasionally follow the ferry. On Inisheer, explore ancient castles, churches, narrow lanes, stone walls and deserted white sand beaches.  The return ferry takes you on a guided scenic cruise beneath the spectacular Cliffs of Moher. Returning to Doolin, you go to the top of the Cliffs of Moher where you can take a stroll along the Cliffs. Departing the Cliffs you return to Galway.

I’m glad the weather...

I’m glad the weather cooperated and we were able to do this tour. I would have enjoyed hearing more history about the country during the long bus trip to the boat!

A full day of beautiful sights

We had an amazing day on this tour. First starting out with our wonderful guide Pawel who was funny and informative all throughout the journey. The ride on the countryside and then getting to hop on a ferry and explore the smallest Aren island, then explore the cliffs from below and then above. It was all amazing! Highly recommend!

Best experience!

The best tour! Alan, our guide, was funny and knowledgeable. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. It was great being able to see the cliffs from the water and top. 1000 percent would recommend this tour!

Phil was fabulous and so was the adventure!

Had a wonderful day trip to the Cliffs (from above and below on a cruise), the smallest of the Aran Islands and other scenic stops along the way. The weather was in our favor!

The Cliffs of Moher

We had one the most wonderful clear days! And our guide was very knowledgeable and fun to be around! The views are spectacular! The last stop at the top of the cliffs you have a choice of steps or paved incline walkways. You get to see everything that you saw from when you were on the boat below. This is a trip that should not be missed!
