The most knowledgeable and entertaining tour

This was a fantastic tour, perfectly timed. Our tour guide, Maurice, was both deeply knowledgeable and entertaining! I have done many tours in different countries, this was by far my favorite! The sheep farm made my daughter so happy, I got her best thanks ever (which doesn’t happen often)😃

We had a fantastic tour to the Cliffs of Moher, The Burren and Galway City with Jillian and Joe. This tour was beyond worthwhile, and the scenery was just incredible. Do yourself a favor and book it— it’s a GREAT value and an unforgettable experience. Jillian’s commentary and stories were excellent and greatly appreciated. She was very informative and also gave great recommendations for things to see, do and taste for each of our stops. (She was additionally VERY patient with the Trumpers from Colorado who sat behind her and felt the need to share all their unwanted political opinions with everyone. I can’t say I would have been as gracious! The entire bus let out a collective sigh and eye roll with their forced commentary.) Joe was a fantastic driver and incredibly warm and friendly. (How he drives a huge bus on some of these roads is borderline miraculous! 😅🙈) Our ONLY critiques would be that the “free WiF” onboard the bus never worked (even though we were on the newest bus). When we pulled up to other Wild Rover buses paralleling us, we would see their wifi pop up as an option, but ours never worked. Additionally, a motorcoach (bus w/ a toilet) might be preferable to invest in with these longer tour days (some folks on board were unable to make it to the next stop without needing facilities, so an unplanned stop was made to accommodate).

Wonderful low stress tour. No driving, no getting lost. Both driver and guide were great. Getting us around the tight turns on winding roads and sending us off with amazing recommendations for what to do next. Would give them 10 stars if I could

Padhraig and Mark were expert guide and driver, entertaining and knowledgeable. Padhraig even played traditional Irish instruments in addition to a curated music playlist in between interpretation of the sites. Cliffs of Moher and Galway City did not disappoint!

Tour: Cliffs of Moher, Galway City & Wild Atlantic Way – Day Trip From Dublin Travel Date: 17 July 2026 Overall, the tour was well organised, and the itinerary itself was enjoyable. The Cliffs of Moher and the other stops were absolutely beautiful. The guide was friendly and humorous throughout the journey. He shared interesting information about the attractions and Irish culture, and he also played some enjoyable Irish music on the coach, which created a pleasant atmosphere. Our driver, Joe, drove safely and professionally throughout the day. However, I consider this to be the standard level of service expected from a professional driver rather than something that exceeded expectations. One experience at the end of the tour left us disappointed. Shortly before arriving at the final stop, the guide announced over the microphone that someone had asked whether they accepted tips. He said that they did, that tips were appreciated, and thanked everyone. I did not personally hear anyone ask that question, so I cannot comment on whether it had actually been asked. However, the announcement immediately before the end of the tour felt like a reminder or encouragement for passengers to leave tips. The guide had also explained that tipping was optional. We respected that and chose not to leave a tip, believing it was a personal decision. However, as we got off the coach, the driver, Joe, said “China.” We cannot know exactly what he meant, but given the timing and context, it made us feel uncomfortable and gave us the impression that he was expressing dissatisfaction because we had not tipped. It left us feeling singled out because of our nationality. We respect Ireland’s tipping culture and understand that many visitors choose to leave tips. However, if tipping is genuinely optional, passengers who choose not to tip should be treated with the same courtesy and respect as everyone else, regardless of where they come from. The scenery and the guide’s commentary made this an enjoyable trip overall, but I hope the company reminds its staff that optional tipping should remain truly optional and that every guest deserves equal respect.

We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide was entertaining and informational, we enjoyed all the stops, the bus was comfortable. It’s a long day but we fit a lot in and it went by quickly and pleasantly. We recommend!

Matt is the best tour guide I have ever had. In just the last two weeks and 4 countries I have had 5 guides and he by far stands above them all. Full of wisdom and humor and was very personable. Be sure to get in his group!!

Our trip was wonderful we toured on a busy Saturday during summer time! Our guide Matt and our driver Stipe were both very kind and knowledgeable. At the cliffs we had wonderful weather and had a great time. However, Galway was packed and we spent most of the time just waiting in line to eat. I wish we had more time but it was a beautifully memorable day!
