Sean offered a personalized and friendly tour that helped tourists really get a strong sense of Irish history and culture with engaging stories. Sean loves what he does and it shines through. Bonus marks for allowing guests to request songs, Pete navigated the road with confidence and ease. Truly great experience.

Overall, this was a great way of seeing Belfast while based in Dublin. A few notes: -The coffee shop we stopped at in the morning was bad. Plan breakfast ahead or bring it with you. -Black Cab Tour >>> Titanic. The personal history you'll get from the Black Cab is an opportunity you shouldn't miss. -The red trail on the Giant's Causeway was not too difficult and totally worth it - stunning views above the causeway for marginally more challenging walking. Unless specifically going down stairs is difficult, most people could manage. -There was plenty of time for lunch at the Nook at the Giant's Causeway stop, though it was pricy. -Not a lot of time at the rest stop on the way home. Good for the bathroom, but not a meal or snacks. I'd pack some! Una was a great tour guide and Krishna drove us well. It was clear they knew the logistics of the trip inside and out and made sure we got what we needed at each place.

I recently did both the Belfast / Giant's Causeway and Cliffs of Moher / Galway City bus tours during a trip to Ireland in March 2025. This was my first time travelling with a bus day tour, and both tours surpassed my expectations! I am in my mid-30s and was travelling with two friends, and found these tours to be the perfect way to see all of the sights, get lots of historical context and local information, have plenty of time to explore at your own pace, and cover a lot of ground with minimal handling of logistics (they sort out everything for you!). I particularly recommend the Black Cab tour in Belfast - it was a very meaningful experience. I appreciate the guides' efforts to keep things engaging - our Belfast tour guide via a trivia game at the end of the day to ensure we retained all of the fun facts we'd learned, and our Galway tour guide via his own live music performances! I highly recommend Wild Rover Tours if you're looking for fun, engaging, well-organized day trips from Dublin.

We took two Wild Rover tours, one Belfast day trip and one Galway. Both were absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend EVERYONE visiting Ireland to book a trip! On our Belfast trip, Michael and Maurice took such good care of us, adding true Irish charm and knowledge to the day and providing us with laughs and excellent recommendations. Lunch at the Giant's Causeway was truly magical! On the Galway trip, Joe and Kevin made sure we got to see the best of the West coast, and the Galway area is lovely to explore! I enjoyed Kevin's little quiz at the end of the trip and was amazed by the confidence Joe had going along the narrow, curving country roads. Having a dedicated guide AND driver make the Wild Rover tours so wonderful, you know you are taken care of!

Maurice was an excellent guide on the bus. Kevin was our driver for the black cab tour and did a fantastic job recounting his story. Would highly recommend.

Clear view of the Cliffs

We had an excellent time on our tour with Wild Rover! We were feeling the luck of the Irish with very clear weather at the Cliffs giving us a great view. We also enjoyed the visitor center. In Galway we also had good weather with just a light sprinkle. The drop off point is just a short walk to the main square and then off to the pedestrian area with all the shops. Our tour guide Brian and bus driver Billy were wonderful in providing us a comfortable riding experience and informative commentary. Our bus experienced a small hiccup with an alarm going off requiring attention which Billy handled calmly and promptly. It was no harm to us to stay in Galway the extra time while the bus issue was addressed! We were happy to have the extra hour ish and Brian and Billy were apologetic for something far out of their control. The bus was comfortable and clean too. We also appreciate the comfort stops so you never have to go longer than 2 hours for a break.

Maurice was a wonderful, knowledgeable and entertaining guide. Michael got us there and back efficiently and safely. Well spaced rest stops and a good amount of time at the main attractions. Would highly recommend.

Excellent Choice

Excellence choice, our tour with Joe and Phil was very good! On time, clean, orderly, nice bus, with comfortable seats and air conditioning. Nice history and significant music selection from Phil while on the road. The Cliffs of Moher were beautiful, and Galway was quite charming. Good pizza at Dough Bros. Fabulous gelato at Gino’s.

Awesome tours!

Daniel, tour guide and Krishna, driver were very friendly. Daniel treated us to the history of the many places we visited and drove through. He also gave us suggestions for eating places in Galway. Would definitely go on a Wild Rover tour again.

Fabulous, plenty of time to visit the sites, bus was modern clean and comfortable, Pete and David were knowledgeable and gave interesting commentary with live music as well as famous Irish artists played throughout our journey . We thoroughly enjoyed and cannot recommend highly enough.

A Giantly fun day

Everything about the tour was great! Maurice was very informative along the way as our guide providing background info and kept the good tunes going all along the way. We started the day with a black cab tour through Belfast with Mickey to see areas involved in the troubles. It was an eye opening experience but Mickey made sure to keep the jokes coming to keep it light. The views at Dunluce Castle were great but were quickly surpassed by Giants Causeway. That’s a place I will never forget. Through it all, our driver Michael got us there safely. I can’t recommend this tour enough!

Maurice and the driver Michael were great. Maurice was a fantastic guide who was very entertaining but also very informative along the whole trip. The black cab tour of Belfast was the highlight. Our guide, Kevin, gave us an extremely interesting, intelligent and insightful history of the area of the falls road area to the present day. His personal experience of living in and growing up in the area really added to the experience. The whole day was great and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The balance of activities works really well. The giants causeway is spectacular. Highly recommended!
