An experience fit for a nation

Absolutely fantastic experience. The views from the castle are excellent and the causeway offers great hikes. The black taxi tour of Belfast was so insightful and probably my favorite part, as a history enjoyer. The busses are of high quality, suitable for traversing the great green nation. I do wish the Wifi on the bus worked better, but it allowed me to immerse myself in the deep lore and natural splendure of Ireland. Our tour guide, Una, delivered far above my expectations, providing excellent narration and personal stories from her life in Ireland and Belfast. After this tour, I would be happy to die beneath an Irish sky. Erin go Bragh.

Wonderful Day Trip - worth it!

Wonderful trip out to the Cliffs of Moher and Galway! Definitely worth giving up a day to visit! Rory (I know I’m spelling his name wrong!) was a fantastic guide - he knew so much about Ireland and both he and Marco (driver) got us promptly to our destination, avoiding crowds and traffic. I only wish we had a little more time on Galway. Would totally recommend this trip and if you get these two as your guide and driver, you’ll be in for a treat (he gives out treats for trivia!)

Well worth your time

Amazing views but the taxi was terrific. Learning from people who lived through the terrors brings a perspective you don’t get normally.

Wind, Earth and Photos - so ist es und so wird es immer sein!!!! Driver Murphy and our Guide Jon make this TRIP GREAT!!! Hundert Zeichen für eine Bewertung - wem fällt so ein Schwachsinn ein - oft ist einfach weniger mehr. Vielleicht werden Sie es einmal verstehen.

Long day but wonderful tour guide and great destinations

A long ride but Eve was an excellent tour guide and Keith kept us safe and on time. Wind and cold rain at the cliffs was disappointing but they were still most impressive.

Impressed with amaizing Irish countryside. Cliffs of Moher are must see. Wild atlantic road is offeeing great views. Galway was rainy but perfect for great fish meal. Jonhn/Dave were great.

Amazing Tour :)

I had an absolutely amazing time on this tour! The places we visited were all stunning and full of charm – the sheep farm was definitely a highlight. But the real highlight was our guide, Liam. His energy, humor, and deep knowledge about every location made the tour truly special. He has such a great way of bringing history and culture to life. I’d go on any tour with him again in a heartbeat – thank you, Liam!

Wonderful!

We had a great time with Dermot as our guide. He was so informative, friendly, and kept us on schedule. He played music to go with the stories he told. He answered any and all questions. There stops were fun and scenic. The cliffs were epic!

Tour timing was well-planned, with ample stops and plenty of time at each stop. Oona (tour guide) was a delight and Michael (driver) was pleasant and safe.

Good day trip experience

A good 12 hours trip from Dublin to see the cliffs of Moher and Bunratty castle. You get to view the rural Irish countyside along your journey. Our guide and driver Dermot also shared lots of Irish history tidbits that perfectly accentuated the trip. Recommend the trip for all.

Great time!

Our tour was filled with information, adventure and laughs! Dave was a personable, knowledgeable and funny host. John, the driver, did an excellent job navigating the narrow roads. We learned so much about the area today and got great recommendations when we got to Galway for eating and shopping. Definitely recommend!

We went around western Ireland to the cliffs of moher, had lunch at a wonderful pub, and visited a castle.

Dermot was an amazing tour guide. He was very funny, knowledgeable, and kind. I felt very safe with him as my driver. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

I had 2 lovely tours. One to Kilkeny and David and Pete were amazing! David, the tour guide, even had a couple of Irish songs prepared and presented them with his ukulele. It was great! Also very knowledgable and all went smoothly. The other tour went to Belfast and the Giant's causeway. It was the budget tour. I didn't like that it was only the driver and no additional staff from Wild Rover Tours. He did very well, but I think 2 people are better. I wouldn't recommend doing the Belfast tour on a Sunday. The city was very quiet. But it was still great!!

Wonderful experience, very well documented tour guide and well design tour, it was a good thing that we had a driver and a tour guide other companies don’t do it and you feel safer with both!

We did not like the tour but that had to do with our preferences. There was nothing fun or exciting. If you are older and prefer to just do a “walking” tour, then this is for you. But I have 2 kids and the last thing they want is to walk aimlessly and listen to someone. There was no fun discovery, no adventure, nothing exciting. Just buildings and trees. Not our cup of tea.

Our flight to Dublin was delayed and we were not able to make the tour. I informed the tour company and simply asked to be moved to the next day (not a refund). They were not able to accommodate, so we booked their competitor for the next day. There were four full size Rover busses leaving from the same place we left the next day, so it seems they likely could have moved us but simply were not willing. A bit disappointing, but their competitor did a great job on the tour we got to take (with basically the same itinerary). Bottom line, even with circumstances out of your control don’t expect any accommodations from Rover.
