Professional, Calm and Thoughtful Guide by Wild Rover guide - Brian
Brian’s care and thoughtfulness made my solo trip more connected. Given that he is pretty new to the job, as he said, I felt like he used his whole life experience to tell us stories with calmness. Thanks, JP, for a safe drive.

Before going, I didn't know much about where we were going besides what I'd read online. I was really amazed at how much we got to see in one day: from the city & castle to the beautiful views at Glendalough. The sheep farm was the perfect ending to an awesome day!

Dave! John! Dolly!
Both our guide, Dave, and our driver, John, were very friendly. We had quite a few laughs, learned a lot about Irish history, and experienced the beauty of the Irish west coast. If you find a bus with an electric purple lamb stuffy named Dolly, know you’re in good hands!

The Cliff of Mohers is a most visit!
It was a memorable bus day-trip thanks to the three incredibly hosts: John, the driver, Dave, who has an admirable vast knowledge about his country; and Dolly, the purple little lamb guiding the tourists (it is a little puppet the guide used to make jokes about, it was very funny) About the Cliffs of Moher, it is undoubtedly, breath taken one of the most magnificent places of nature! Great views and amazing living things scenes. Hopefully the weather was clear, despite the cloudy and windy conditions, the trip has a total of 5 sparkling stars.

Fantastically smooth
The views were amazing! We took so many photos! Dave and John were outstanding! John's driving was fantastic, and Dave's brief history lessons were very eye opening.

Bellissima escursione alle scogliere Cliffs of Mohers, ottimo pasto tipico ed economico in vecchio pub nel piacevole paesino di Ennis, visita ad un vero castello medievale e al villaggio medievale ricostruito vicino, con l ottima e simpatica guida Dell autista Dermot, accogliente con tutti, anche se non riuscivamo a capire tutti i suoi discorsi in inglese.

Wonderful experience!
We had an amazing tour and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend booking this adventure through Wild Rover - everything went smoothly from start to finish. The absolute highlight and what made it the best, was our tour guide Dave and bus driver Pete! They are both outstanding in their job and made this such a memorable experience for us as first timers to both Ireland and this part of the country. Dave’s funny stories/anecdotes mixed in with his vast knowledge of the history of his beloved Ireland, made for a tremendous adventure. Although we only took the tour one way ( we had chosen ahead of time to book a room in Galway and stay the night) it was worth the price to pay to experience the Cliffs, Wild Atlantic Way and Galway with the expertise of Dave & Pete! Thank you both, Dave & Pete ☘️

Perfect trip. Eve was so amazing as a guide. Perfect amount of information and history. Highly recommend. Did it with 3 kids age 3, 4, and 17, they did fine with the trip which is always a worry,but this worked perfectly

Strongly recommend!
I found this tour quite moving, mostly due to the tour guide’s personal shares and deep knowledge and expertise. The cliffs of Moher were grand and epic (look for the cave that Harry Potter & Dumbledore seek one of the horcruxes in). And Galway was a blast — the seafood was outstanding and the shopping was fantastic. Dáighe (our guide) and Joe (driver) were fabulous hosts.

Liam was amazing with his knowledge! He peppered in a lot of personal stories, which made it super fun. Kilkenny is an amazing town, Wicklow is breathtaking and seeing the sheep farm was a great finish to the day. We highly recommend it!

Great Tour Company and Guides!
**Long story but we missed this tour and instead were invited to join the Cliffs of Moher and Galway tour. This is a review of the same company, but different itinerary. This was a GREAT tour! In fact one of our family’s favorite tours in our travels over the years. Our guide Dáithí and driver Joe were kind, welcoming and gave great information. Along the way, Dáithí told great stories and played music that enhanced the beautiful scenery we saw along the way. The scenery was truly unique and will leave a lasting impression on us. If you want to see the green hills and coast of Ireland, you must book this tour. We took Dáithí‘s recommendation to eat at King’s Head in Galway and it was one of our favorite meals. The oysters were divine! I have to add that one should not be put off by the long day. The day flew by and after so much walking in major cities it was nice to sit back and relax on the coach.

Our wonderful guide -Dave kept us entertained the whole time! I learned so much from him. Our driver John was also incredible, I was really impressed with his skill in maneuvering that giant bus on those tiny, windy roads!

Consistently amazing
This was a very interesting and engaging experience. Rory was very entertaining and enthusiastic. He kept our interest and had fun anecdotes. He was also very patient and understanding when we got stuck at the causeway due to crowds and were a bit late coming back up. JT was the driver and we were very impressed with his ability to deftly maneuver such a giant vehicle and never once made us feel like we were being bounced around. Rory also gave us some great recommendations at the end for things to do and see based on personal experience, which we found invaluable. This was my second great experience with Wild Rover and my husband’s first. I was so happy that he also took away a great memory just like my first time with you guys. Thank you!

Amazing, action-packed tour
This was probably the best part of my holiday. The tour was incredibly well organized and offered an unbeatable balance of seeing the stunning Dunluce Castle and Giant’s Causeway, and also learning a lot of Irish history during the black cab tour. It’s hard to believe that the tour accomplished so much in one day, yet we never felt rushed at any of the destinations. Our tour guide Una was amazing. This tour is simply a must do; you will not regret it.
