Giant's Causeway/Belfast Black Taxi was a long day but handled very well by Wild Rover. Comfortable bus, excellent driver (Pete) and wonderful guide (Ciara). Taxi trip was moving to learn about "the troubles". Learned about music, famous people, history. Very well done.

I really enjoyed this tour. Seeing The Giant’s Causeway made my trip to Ireland and I’d say I preferred the site to the Cliffs of Moher. I found our particular guide a bit prickly and not as nice as she could have been. Any questions that were asked about timing or location details were met with a condescending “what did I just say?” Or “What time did I say?” Most tourists could be very tired or jet lagged and being seated in the 30th row might not lend to hearing things as clearly as being closer up. A little bit of kindness could do a long way! I saw this type of response with me and others as well.

The whole tour was marvelous but the Giant’s Causeway should be on everyone’s bucket list. Both the guide, Una and driver, Sarah made the day and fun.

WARNING - AVOID Wild Rover Tours Travel Date: July 2024 Tour: Titanic Belfast Experience,Giant’s Causeway, Dunluce Castle Day Trip from Dublin Wild Rover tour guide - Kevin Issues: - I was the 1st to arrive for the 7 AM pick up in front of a Starbucks in Dublin. Upon entering the bus, Kevin and the bus driver (Michael) insisted upon assigning seats. Their Tripadvisor/Viator listing did NOT state that seats would be assigned - like a child in school. I got up extra early to make sure that I was first to enter the bus so that I could sit in the first seat. I was quite disappointed that I would be assigned a seat. Had I known that seats were going to be assigned I would’ve selected another tour company. Additionally, They reserve the first three rows of seats on both sides of the bus for passengers with mobility issues. I explained to Kevin and Michael that I had knee problems (I wear a knee brace under my clothing in order to stabilize, my knee joint) my request to sit in the front seat was ignored, and I was asked to sit in another part of the bus. A couple behind me immediately grabbed the front seat and presented a military disability card, however, I had been on a Gate 1 tour with this couple and they did NOT have mobility issues. It was a scheme they used to sit in the front seat. - Kevin put a random guy that was sick and coughing in the seat next to me. I immediately put on a mask to avoid getting Covid or some other sickness. Additional issues: - The bus seats recline into the knees of the person sitting behind. If you are tall, you will be uncomfortable on this bus. The leg room is less than on an airplane in coach. - Kevin played annoying music first thing in the morning, instead of letting the passenger sleep. Be sure to take your noise cancelling ear buds! - Kevin made a political announcement concerning the USA during the tour, which had nothing to do with Ireland. It was unclear as to why Kevin made this announcement - perhaps he was wanting a reaction from the US passengers on the bus - which could have resulted in endangering the lives of all passengers on this tour bus given the nature of US politics. OVERALL - do yourself a favor and select another tour company (e.g. FINN McCools) that treats, its customers like adults and allows them to sit where they want to sit on the bus on a first come first serve basis, provides additional tourist stops ( e.g. Dark Hedges, etc.) that this company does not provide and does not comment or make announcements concerning other countries politics.
