Nice day out of the city!
The view was worth the ride, and we had plenty of time to see the cliffs and roam Galway. Anthony had great advice during the whole tour, and he and Pete were a treat to be travelling with. Would recommend!

Horrendous experience
Given I’ve travelled before with Wild Rover tours, this experience was extremely disheartening. The guide with us today, Una was not helpful at all. We were not engaged at all, no help was offered at the various spots of the tour. Constantly, only the first 2 rows were engaged. I could overhear interesting, informative conversations happening up front but none of it was communicated to the entire group. It felt absolutely demeaning and like we hadn’t actually paid for the trip. No information was shared verbally about the various sites properly and whatever was shared was difficult to follow. I had such a good experience the first time that I booked a second tour but this one has put me off of any Wild Rover tours honestly.

Wild Rover Day Tour
Maurice and Marko were extraordinary tour guides. Maurice was so informative and made sure we all felt welcome. Marko drove the motor coach with expert skill. The tour was a wonderful way to see Irish life outside of Dublin. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough! Phenomenal!

Best tour in both experience and value
Such an incredible time, Matt was a great guide who provided really fun and compelling stories about irish history. Stipe was a lovely driver as well and very helpful with directions! So glad i purchased this tour!!

I had a wonderful experience over my one day trip with the driver Stephen and our guide Stephen at the Cliffs of Mother and in Galway. I was not only taken to my picked venues without experiencing issues of any kind, but I was also taught very interesting details about the Irish story I will never forget. Stephen's guidance, particularly, has made me not only understand but also appreciate more the Irish culture. I highly recommend a trip with both of them

Fantastic Day Trip – Maurice and Marco Made It Unforgettable!
We had an amazing time on the Kilkenny, Glendalough, and Wicklow Mountains day tour from Dublin! This trip was the perfect way to see a mix of charming towns, stunning countryside, and unique cultural experiences—all in one day. Our driver, Marco, was excellent—smooth, safe driving all day long (even through some very narrow and winding roads!) and always on time. We felt totally at ease and appreciated how seamless the entire journey felt thanks to him. And Maurice, our tour guide, truly brought the day to life. He was friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. His storytelling and historical tidbits kept us engaged and entertained the entire day. He struck the perfect balance of giving us time to explore on our own and offering guided insights at each stop. You can tell he genuinely loves Ireland and sharing it with others. Highlights for us included wandering the medieval streets of Kilkenny, the peaceful beauty of Glendalough, and of course, the sheepdog demonstration—a surprising favorite! Watching the border collie work with such precision was amazing and not something we expected to enjoy as much as we did. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see more of Ireland without the stress of planning or driving. Maurice and Marco were a dream team—thanks for such a memorable day!

Fun experience, would definitely recommend
Our driver Stipe and tour guide Matt were amazing, no complaints. stipe was an excellent driver and Matt had us laughing the whole time while still telling us all the wonderful facts about Ireland

The guide Daniel was amazing, and also Lisa, the driver. The tour is nice, but maybe too much hours in the bus. The Cliffs of Moher have changed a lot, you can only walk a short way cause the rest part of the way is closed, but nice anyway.

Thanks stephen for a nice day trip! The cliffs are beautiful, Mcdonaugh’s fish and chips were tasty. Some history lessons but we were also given time to nap.

Well worth the day!
The black cab experience was very informative and we appreciated the real life experiences shared by our cab driver, Sean. Una our tour guide had lots of knowledge and her own personal experiences. John was a quiet but great driver. The giant causeway was beautiful and we lucked out on a sunny and clear day and saw beautiful sites all the way to Scotland.

Great day trip to Northern Ireland
Great experience traveling into Northern Ireland with this tour group, very organized, well planned out , entertaining and surprisingly emotional. The bus was pretty comfortable, no complaints, I’m tall so bus seats are never too comfy, but the stops were well timed out and I never felt we spent to long a period on the bus. John (driver) and Anthony (tour guide) were excellent. Anthony kept us entertained and informed throughout the ride. I didn’t realize when I booked that you would have a choice between black cab tour or the titanic museum. Pick the black cab tour ! Just a great experience, I had to admit I didn’t have a great grasp on the “troubles “ so I was looking forward to learning some history. Our guide , pat with cap, was excellent. To hear first hand experiences from a huge moment in history was incredible, Pat grew up during the troubles and lived through all the violence , I won’t spoil it in case your lucky enough to get him , but you will be moved by his words I promise. You definitely need to do this tour!! Dunluce castle was a good stop as well , seeing that castle built into the cliff was amazing, and seeing the inspiration for castle Greyjoy. Giants causeway was next , no need to go into that , if your looking into this tour you know what the causeway is , go see it up close , amazing !! The trio back to Dublin was long , no getting around that , but we stopped for a break half way through and Anthony again kept us informed and entertained… so leprechauns are officially an endangered species, crazy. Overall a great trip !!!

Delightful Day
My daughter and I had a delightful time. We loved Kilkenny and Glendalough. History and nature in one day - how wonderful. Keith, our driver, and Caroline M, our guide were both excellent! I highly recommend this tour.

A Perfect Day
This was a fabulous excursion! Although it was a long day, I can truly say we enjoyed every minute! Anthony our tour guide and Pete our driver were top notch. They kept or trip perfectly on schedule so that we could maximize our time at each stop! I highly recommend this excursion, and I sure hope you get lucky and have Anthony and Pete to escort you!! Wild Rover Tours…you rock!

Matt was a great guide. We thoroughly enjoyed this trip! We are now thinking that Galway is the next Irish destination! Food was incredible at The King’s Head as well.

It’s a grand time
Would recommend. Had a clear day so visibility was amazing for the whole trip. Phil (tour guide) and Billy (driver) were both amazing. Would have liked for the driver to slow a bit at castles/other sites along the Wild Atlantic Way for pictures. Overall grand experience!
