Kevin is the ultimate tour guide, keeping us educated and entertained during the entire day. The stop in galway was just the right duration for a quick pint and a dozen Kelly's oysters! No shortage of eating opportunities on this trip...don't load up at first rest stop.

We did the day tour from Dublin to the Cliffs of Moher, the the Wild Atlantic Way and Galway and had such a wonderful day! Elisa was a charismatic and knowledgeable host and Steve was a great driver. I purchased the tickets about 3 weeks in advance via Viator and had no trouble booking. Personally I loved the more rural western side of the country and the drive through it ! Thank you Wild Rover Tours!

We had such a great time on our tour with Wild Rover. It was extremely informative, but also lots of fun! The bus ride was comfortable and the stops helped break it up. Joe and Alisa were kind, funny and entertaining. We had plenty of time at each of the stops and really enjoyed driving along the coast to take in the beauty of all of the different parts of Ireland. Would reccomend!

Recently we did a bus tour with Wild Rover to the Wicklow Mountains that we thoroughly enjoyed. Marco was our excellent driver and Liam was our tour guide. Liam’s patter was marvellous: entertaining and very informative. He took the time to individually speak and welcome every passenger. His recommendations on places to visit when we got back to Dublin were spot on. The bus tour included a visit to a hill farm where owner Martin explained sheep farming at altitude and showed us how he used his collie dogs. We then visited the wonderful Glendalough followed by time in the historic city of Kilkenny. Thoroughly recommend this tour, especially if Liam is the guide.

We did two tours with the company, Wicklow Mountains and Cliffs of Moher. Both of the trips were facilitated by Kevin, a great, cheerful and polite guide who has many many interesting things about history, legends but also modern life in Ireland to share. We loved the fact that he put Irish tunes between the explanations in the bus. He went out of his way to help us with trains and buses to Galway which we appreciate very much. Of course we are not forgetting the two drivers, Krishna on the first day and Joe on the second, both very professional and skilled especially remembering the narrow and slippery roads. Both days we were able to stick to the schedule which does not always happen with group tours. If I had to mention one negative is that the radiator was not very strong in the bus leaving the cliffs were it had rained and we were a bit cold. However that doesn’t change the great memory of this trip. The landscapes are beautiful and we were able to experience them in a great and comfortable way. Thank you all!

Kilkenny, Wicklow Mountains, Glendalough Day Tour (with Maurice and JP) The Journey This tour was fun, but there were a lot of stops - while this tour is not longer than any of the rest that Wild Rover offers, the amount of stops and walking did leave us a bit tired at the end. In Kilkenny and Glendalough, there was some time to get food, although the walk at Glendalough might take some time, so it’s best to do the walk first before thinking about food. Walking shoes recommended as there was quite a bit of walking done on this tour. The experiences During our tour, we visited Kilkenny, Glendalough/Wicklow and had a sheep farm experience. Kilkenny castle seemed interesting from the outside, but we did not feel compelled to shell out extra for the tour of the inside. Kilkenny Design allowed us to do some nice shopping for local products, and we were also lucky enough to see a local fair that was running in the area. Glendalough was very lovely. The trails around the lake were nice and tranquil, and the weather allowed us to walk around and see the lakes in all their glory. The walk took some time walking at a leisurely pace, but would definitely recommend that you see the upper lake as the beauty of the valley really comes through there. The sheep farm was a good learning experience to learn about how locals in the area lived. We were able to learn about how sheep farmers reared their sheep, and how they used the mountains as grazing areas. The sheepdog demonstration showed just how much skill goes into training these dogs! Being able to hold the sheep was also an extra special treat! The guides We loved the Maurice & JP guide-driver pair. Maurice was knowledgeable about the places we visited, and never balked at the questions people were asking as he went through the tour. We stopped at some photo spots where we were the only group, and were able to take some very picturesque photos! And we were never want for a break as everything was communicated clearly.

Giants Causeway, Belfast City & Dunluce Castle Day Tour (with Una and Billy) The journey The tour as a whole was spectacular. Getting to see Belfast, the castle and the Giants’ Causeway was a treat - we were able to see the beautiful coast of Ireland and the castle was lovely. We were hit by some sudden rain during our tour, but this left a fond memory for us. But if you’re going in September and it might rain, do prepare for really cold and wet weather! The segments give enough time for you to see what you need, but also some time for a quick toilet/food break. Drinks and cold food are allowed on the coach, so would recommend that you pack some food if you’d rather focus on the sights. The experiences Black cab tour in Belfast was a very eye-opening, educational and sombre tour. You will learn a lot and bear witness to what Belfast is like now, and the political climate of today. The guides were very open in telling us about their lived experiences of the Troubles, and it was useful to hear about how things changed (and didn’t). Would highly recommend reading some cliffnotes about Belfast beforehand, as that helped us get a deeper understanding of how things got to the way it is today. The other stops were great as well, but Belfast left the deepest impression on us. The guides Una and Billy were professional, helpful and kind. Una shared a lot of her own experiences growing up, and her knowledge of the places we visited helped us appreciate them even more. She also helped us spot the small things that we wouldn’t have noticed throughout our journey in Northern Ireland, like political symbols and signs. Also lovely were the recommendations Una gave us for the rest of our days in Ireland, such as restaurants, food and attractions.

I did the Belfast tour and Rory the tour guide was funny and great to talk to one on one. Him and I joked around a lot and the tour itself was great to have a lot of our own free time to do our thing. The Titanic museum to Dunluce castle had great history and I loved learning about each place. Thank you again for a great tour!

Great guide and bus. Travelled to Cliffs of Moher and Galway with Sean and Sarah. Great info on Dublin, history of Ireland, Cliffs & Galway - and anything else you wanted to ask about. Great music choices while riding on the comfy wi-fi provided bus.

Really enjoyed this tour - the Wild Rover guide (David) and driver (Krishna) were excellent. They provided safe journey, and David was incredibly informative about things we saw on the tour, as well as Irish history in general. He also sang a few songs, which was a very nice touch. I strongly recommend this tour! I choose the Black Taxi tour, and that was an authentic and humbling experience. Hearing about the violence in Northern Ireland from someone who has lived through it was moving and something I will remember for a very long time.

(Translated by Google) The only downside was that we didn't stop in Burren for the 10 minutes we were supposed to. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience. The cliffs are breathtaking, and the guide was very friendly and always willing to help. Great! (Original) Lo único esque no paramos en Burren los 10minutos que se decía que pararía lo demás muy bonita experiencia los acantilados son impresionantes y el guia muy amable y siempre dispuesto ayudar genial

Great tour! Highly recommended. We did the Belfast, Dunluce Castle and Giant’s Causeway tour. Our guide Daithi and driver Podge were the best. Daithi was very informative and comical as well! His recommendations on what to do on the tour and around Dublin afterwards were spot on.Thanks! We opted for the Black Taxi tour in Belfast and it was very interesting. I only wish that we had more time to spend on it as there’s so much history to cover there. The weather at Dunluce Castle and Giant’s Causeway was spectacular and made for some great exploring and pictures too! And we couldn’t go wrong with Daithi’s suggestion for lunch!!! Thanks again for a great experience.
