Wild Rover tours offered an amazing, unforgettable day tour to Cullens Sheep Farm, the Wicklow Mountains (where a lot of scenes from Leap Year and Braveheart were filmed), Glendalough, and Kilkenny. We departed from Dublin in the morning, and enjoyed a fabulous day with enough time on each site to explore and take in the sights. Our guide David was friendly, knowledgeable and made the trip very enjoyable; he sang traditional Irish songs and shared a lot of great historical facts about each area we visited. The highlight for me was the visit to the sheep farm, where we got the chance to see 2 adorable baby lambs born a couple of weeks before, and a sheep dog demonstration 😍

Awesome tour. The bus leaked when raining. But the tour guide (Keith) was awesome and gave great interpretation/recommendations during the tour. While the weather at the Cliffs were was horrible, the views were beautiful and the visitor center was clean/warm.

Phenomenal tour! Una was AMAZING! We used a few different tour companies on vacation and Wild Rover and Una in particular were by far the best!

Trip was nice, driver was nice, but he really didn’t need to talk about politics. If I want to hear someone ramble on about politics I’d attend a Thanksgiving dinner with my drunk uncle. I take trips like this to escape that kind of BS!

I cannot recommend this tour based on what happened, though I can't judge the tour itself either, just the service of the operator. I was running a bit late due to traffic, this was totally my fault. I turned out to be one minute late actually. As i approached, i saw the bus leaving l, so i ran after it. The driver did not see me so I couldn't go on the tour. Immediately i tried to call the operator, to see if i could catch up to them somewhere. The number turned out impossible to call somehow. The only other info i could find was an emailaddress, which would not do me any good at the moment. I don't blame them for leaving on time, I do think it is really bad that they did not call me though. They had my number (why take it if you are not going to use it is this case) but they did not even call to see if I was coming, or if there were any problems. I felt really bad, standing there at 7 am on the curb with no tour to go on. I asked booking.com if they could mean anything for me, like give me a partial refund or something. They could not. So all in all, based on the service aspect, I cannot recommend this tour.

We did the Cliffs of Moher/Ennis/Bunratty Castle day trip and it was great! Would highly recommend to anyone who is visiting Ireland and wants to see different parts of the country in one day. The driver/guide was amazing - shout out to Keith! He gave a lot of fun facts around Dublin and local pubs/attractions. I will definitely be booking another tour next time I visit Ireland!

A wonderful day with a wonderful itinerary and driver (Dermot). Our guide was extremely personable and it is clear that he loves Ireland. There were plenty of breaks for food and toilets but we also didn’t waste a lot of time. The scenery at the cliffs and at the castle were outstanding and we will never forget our experience with Dermot.

Rory was an excellent guide well-versed in Irish history, funny and entertaining. Joseph drove well and was very personable. I’d do another tour with them.

I'm so glad I did this tour. It exceeded my expectations by far. Our guide Oona and the driver Krishna were the best, very friendly and knowledgeable, with a great sense of humor. They went out of their way to ensure we were all comfortable and all of our questions were answered. We were in very good hands. Highly recommend this tour.

Genuinely one of the most enjoyable tours I've done anywhere in the world. Suzanne and Steven were delightful and hilarious. I learned so much about Irish history and culture (and humour!). Can't wait to go on another tour with Wild Rover Tours! Also excellent value for money.

David and Sara were the tour guide and driver on our amazing trip to the cliffs of Moher, Galaway, etc. It was everything that it was advertised to be and more. We loved it. They stuck to the times, and included reasonable breaks. We had enough time at the Cliffs and Galaway. David made it especially entertaining with the stories, history, singing and personal interactions.

Our tour was truly amazing. We started with a visit to a sheep farm, where petting the lambs and watching the border collie’s performance was unforgettable. Experiencing what we’ve seen in movies and documentaries in real life was incredible. For the following stops, there was enough large of time to explore Glendalough, visit the city Kilkenny, enjoy meals or have coffee. I’d also like to give a special thanks to our tour guide, Sean. He was very experienced and knowledgeable about the places we visited and provided detailed explanations. It was such an enjoyable tour. Thank you!
