Nice places to visit....
Nice places to visit. Although I am not a fan of organised bus tours this one was quite nice. I could have stayed longer at the giant's causeway as I needed to rush a bit, bit altogether it was nice.

Kevin was excellent — interactive and entertaining. Good balance between guided tour and self-exploring time at every stop. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the day and would do it again and highly recommend it to everyone!

Wonderful tour guide
Our tour guide (David) was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, funny and entertaining (he sang for us and played the ukulele). He was also very caring and met with each person on the bus - engaging in a friendly chat and providing excellent recommendations of things to see/do and places to eat/drink in Dublin. The driver (Krishna) was also very nice and he drove with great care. The places we visited were varied. Each place was great - the Wicklow Mountains, Glendalough and Kilkenny. The sheepdog demonstration was fun and we got to hold a baby lamb. The only downside was that the air conditioning on the bus was not functioning properly and it was very uncomfortable in the afternoon.

Set the bar very high for Dublin day tours
Viator contracted with Wild Rover Tours for our trip. I cannot remember our guide's name (mea culpa!), but our driver was Petey. My husband and I enjoyed the tour tremendously, and we would recommend highly it to others. A couple tips: - Like all day tours out of Dublin, there are no toilets on the busses - As of the date of our tour (23 Jul 2026), the border between the Republic and Northern Ireland was a soft border and did not include a passport check or the need for a visa - Dunluce Castle is very interesting and picturesque, but it is not at all built up around the area. Do not expect a large visitor center, gift shop, toilets, or refreshment stop. It was very close to Giants Causeway, though - There is a very handy bus (modest extra fee) down to the Giants Causeway and back. Well worth the fee to ride back - There is an extensive visitor center, with a significant entrance fee, at the entrance of the trail to the Giants Causeway. That visitor center has toilets, a gift shop, and a café - There are two other places to eat at Giants Causeway: The Nook and The Causeway Hotel; we ate at The Nook, which was fine, but if we were to do it again, I would pay the Visitor Center admission and get the whole experience - The highest point for me was the walking tour of Belfast, which was subcontrated with Yellow Umbrella Tours. Aaron was OUTSTANDING!!! Excellent, balanced overview of the history - City Hall toilets were the best of anywhere we have been. (And the City Hall itself was beautiful. Would have liked to have taken that tour, but didn't have time.) - Our bus tour guide was delightful and perfect; he gave great insights, shared some lovely music, and also gave us a good bit of quiet time for rest and reflection. Highly recommend!!! (Just wish I remembered his name...) - Finally, European tour busses are a little cozier than tour busses in the US, especially with regard to leg room; the Wild Rover bus was a bit roomier than the other day tour bus we took this time from Dublin, and the seats also slid apart to offer more seat room while traveling

The tour with Matt and Steve was great! Matt shared many interesting information and stories of Ireland. Unfortunately the weather was not great for Cliffs of Moher and we weren't able to see them. Just a little note on the lunch break in Gallway, which is scheduled a bit too late (early afternoon). All the rest was well organized and we recommend it!

Matt and Steven were outstanding. Steven navigating the roads like a true professional and slowed for pics and viewings in certain places for the castles. Matt also was outstanding host with all Irish history and stories. Cliffs were great and scenic drive to Galway was breathtaking- still not sure how this bus made it through those narrow roads. I would definitely do it again and definitely with Matt and Steven! Sláinte
